I do love a clean black car, best colour IMO. I was interested in the steps, what was put on after the SF but before the contact wash? All the best.

The car is ceramic coated so a thorough rinse followed by a gentle snow foam by garage therapy Is all it needed as we were removing dust.
Mjjc lance had @Waxandaway phneutral shampoo to blanket the car for lubrication. Just needs one bucket then to use as a rinse bucket but it has shampoo in it too add to the slickness.

@Jonny Shiell Detailing thank you Jonny. The consistency made the lance applied shampoo made me think it was a ceramic LSP and thought, oh, something new to try 😂. Have a fab weekend.

Hahaha, yeah because it's freshly coated I can see why you'd think that, it's hard to get shampoo to stick and cling. If you like a lance applied sealant then go for autoglym polar seal.
