- Syracuse police officer Michael Jensen, 29, and Onondaga County Sheriff’s Lt. Michael Hoosock, 37, died in a gun battle on Darien Drive in Salina, N.Y., April 14, 2024. Syracuse police Chief Joe Cecile said the shooter, Christopher Murphy, 33, had spent the day trying to provoke an interaction with police officers. He finally got the fight he wanted outside his home, ending with the death of the two officers and himself. Read the full story here: l.syracuse.com/CoEf63
Just tragic and sad. Thank you to all law enforcement who protect us and god bless you.
How do they protect us, in your opinion?
POLICE DO NOT PROTECT TAXPAYERS! (Castle Rock vs Gonzales 545 U.S. 748 (2005) (Police protect the state not its citizens!)
Supreme court says the police "Serve and Protect" the state and "NOT ITS CITIZENS". Police heroically OPPRESS and WAR against TAXPAYERS for PROFIT converting taxpayers into welfare recipients. Fairy-tale heroes in BLUE are the #1 "Most Despised TAX Collecting TYRANTS" in the Nation!
NO POLICE encounter ever benefits the taxpayer!

Crazy asf R.I.P. this was a tragic day for everyone 🪦
What was the motive? Somethings not adding up
He was sick and tired of the corrupt cops in this country.

Sad but it's all good eye for eye now days
I’m sick to my stomach.
Lmfao so he was not a illegal or immigrant eh or the “ usual suspects as these internet trolls like to say
Lmfao 😂probably a democrat who gets offended by pronouns
No. Unfortunately, we can't blame that.
Darn it!
He was a Biden supporter, so they’ll blame the gun.
Or a jew like you
Which is why this video only has 43 comments 21hours after being posted
Lured them in ?? They went looking for him !! 😵💫
Yup.
@@INDREAMSBEGINSRESPONSIBILITIES you two buffoons should do a bit more research before you make the stupid comments you've made. The perp was LOOKING to lure cops in.
Yup.. spin spin spin
If you see a suspicious vehicle,as long as its parked legal and no ones complaining, and the tags are current, just ignore it.Its not worth your life
Thank you! It's amazing that people just don't seem to understand that.
The vehicle was going about 100mph on city streets.
You and the retard below who approved the comment have to be some of the most idiotic people society has to offer. Yes, let’s blame the police you POS !

Police attempted a "traffic stop" on a suspicious vehicle, THEN, the driver sped away.

Is that his parents house ? Where are his parents? What did he do for a living ? Not that we really care about him but there has to be a manifesto somewhere , his computer!
Yes. He lived with his parents; however, they were reported to be out of town when the incident happened. In addition, he had recently been employed with a wireless company in Syracuse, but there was no discussion on his employment history, or its stability. Moreover, I'm certain that the Syracuse Police Department and Onondaga County Sheriff's Office are looking for all leads to determine why this occurred.
This video doesn't detail everything that's public. No manifesto as of now but when he was baiting police he had a friend with him that said he bailed and got an Uber home when Murphy started rambling about baiting the police. They had been drinking and Murphy was doing cocaine.
As far as I'm aware it doesn't appear that HE had a death wish of his own. He just wanted cops dead.
@@TheOneKingForThemAll Yes. I read that Murphy's friend told him to pull over and let him out, due to his (Murphy's) irrational/aggressive behavior. Indeed, he was looking for a confrontation with LEOs. However, there's a lot about Murphy's social and psychological history that we (the public) just don't know? He not only took the lives of Lt. Hoosock and Officer Jensen, but devastated their families. Furthermore, look what Murphy did to his own family.
@@zingwilder9989 Yes I know. Some of his past has came out. He's obviously been in trouble with LEOs before. The photo used is his criminal photo. I'm sure you can find his previous criminal history online but as far as any other history of him, that's not public knowledge right now.
I worked with him a few years ago at jma I was his boss. Good kid, just got promoted to supervisor a month or so ago. Idk what happened to him
Awe…
Wow
Maybe the cops shouldn't have come to someone's home and threatened them with guns.
Are you fucking stupid? That's not at all what happened.
1. This dude wasn't innocent. He had a long history of violence with police and guns.
2. He was speeding around Tipp Hill area, speeds around 100 mph, looking to bait police
3. Police went there to follow up on his reckless driving in Tipp Hill, not to show up and shoot someone.
You're a fucking cop hating idiot who speaks without knowing the facts. While I understand there are bad cops out there, this has nothing to do with bad cops looking for a fight.
If you come looking for trouble you may just find it Lol
Spoken like a true POS
Maybe both your mothers shouldn’t have been whores.
@josephshutlz4541 is just one more troll who has no clue as to what he's commenting on.
Steal my money!!! KARMA !!!
Its not Ambush he was front house and move toward them
Learn the facts. He baited police in Tipp Hill with intent to harm. The friend he was with at that time knew his intents and got out in Tipp Hill area and took an Uber home. After fleeing police, he went to his home on Darien Dr to await police. While waiting, he went and got another friend from around the corner. Once that friend found out the intent to harm police, he tried running. That's when police arrested him and Murphy opened fire on the officers.
That's an ambush.

They were not driven to the neighbors house. His rambling tale of what he saw was pathetic.
Let’s not rush to judgment, wait until all the facts come in.
I don’t support the police

Seems the guy was merely defending himself from heavily armed, badge wearing bandits; NOT GUILTY!
Go take your conspiracy BS elsewhere a-wipe.
Seems like you are incapable of doing some research before making a pathetically stupid comment. Defending himself with a firearm that was 100% illegal. You're a fool and obviously some tinfoil-hat-wearing conspiracy lemming.
Educate our officers. This won't happen.
Education= no cop tears.
Thanks 🤡 incel boy
Keep telling people to get educated when it is something you so desperately need to do yourself
@@BlitzFlre Teach me something.
@@joesphschramm3754 what would you like to know?
@@BlitzFlre What do I need education about?
Why does education seem like it offends you regarding the senseless loss of 3 lives?
It's so sad they train officers to pursue "suspicious vehicles." Since suspicion is not a crime under any statute, they died for nothing. Losing their label as heroes.
True heroes know your rights and make it home to their families at the end of their day.
So sad this man had to defend himself against these nonheroes.
🤡 Go back to your basement
Yeah it's their fault a lunatic had too "defend" himself. Congrats on being a complete POS. People like you aren't part of the problem. You are the problem. Loser.
Stop making it so obvious you have a rock for a brain
@@BlitzFlre Don't bother trying to make sense to these folks. 60-70% of the comments that I'm reading regarding this incident are so radical, they're intolerable.
they seen him speeding through the city streets over 100 mph you can't just let someone go thats doing that, They could kill civilians. And I know the cops died which sucks but at the end of the day the signed up for the job knowing this was a possibility, the civilians didn't.
