This feels like a proper salute to all that we've done as a guardian and everything we've sacrificed along the way, as we finally face the Witness in one last battle for the fate of the universe. You nailed the atmosphere, and that's not something that Bungie themselves always does with 100% accuracy. This piece definitely brings to mind all that we have done, all we've lost, and the final challenge that awaits our hero

What would personally be perfect for me is something like this plays at the start of the final shape campaign, and then when fighting the witness we get an even more epic battle rendition of the old one combined with the themes of all the factions.
unfortunately this now means if there isn’t a rendition of journey in the final shape i will be massively disappointed- this is beautiful absolutely fantastic job

This is not great, I’m gonna be real with you. Those saying this should be the end song or the menu song are gaslighting you. It’s clearly just a rehashing of the Journey song. Piano sounds dead and lifeless in the beginning. Was hoping for a more original idea.
I think your being a little too harsh. The piano doesn’t sound to bad but I think instead of replacing journey you make it less sad but hopefully triumphant. As journey is destinys first soundtrack that represents loss and making it brighter would make reverse the theme of the song.

I could see the ending of the song, upon our defeat of the Witness be the original opening song. The “Guardian” theme.

Agreed. I am open to feedback can you eloborate more? I am still new to orchestrating and such since my main style is synth focused music.
