10:09 when battlers hold up 2 fingers (or count more) they are saying that their opponent is repeating a technique. Codfish is commonly criticized for being very repetitive, but I still think he won this because they were both solid fundamentally but Codfish had higher peaks or moments. If Bataco had used more techniques in drops, like the whistle from the quarterfinals, he might have won.
Ohhhh ok that’s a good thing to look at such small details but it add more layers 👌🏾
@waacher Yes but we also have to keep in mind whatever the opponent does, for example Codfish beat H-has because H-has made it a free win for Codfish. And on this one, 2:20 Bataco literally did this in his Elimination, that you reacted to, which is why no one is reacting that much to it, not a smart move to make at all if we think about it because you're literally being explicit about the fact you're completely out of ideas, which can deduct a lot of points unless the beat had some slight changes.
About 5:18 Well not exactly (not in this case), Codfish's round was kind of a "dummy round" or "decoy round", with the intention of making sure Bataco had nothing to counter from him, therefore we assume he was also battling, although it's up to the viewer whether they also liked this round.
Literally every single round from Codfish is the same though; singing or bass plus the same drum sounds (mostly a basic kick snare) It sounds good but he's a very controversial winner for a reason lol
