Hello Alex!! When you unloaded the tow motor, were your wheels chocked? If not, you might want to use them for safety practices. As always, Great Job!! Ken!! Oh!!👍🏾
@@kennethwilliams3877 I usually chock the wheels if I open my ramps to drive whatever off the trailer but these guys had the back of the trailer chained to their unload ramp and also bottle jacks under the rear of the trailer.
Enjoyed the video, man. I saw that forklift and was thinking, man, I'm glad I'm watching... I want to see where he hooks up to secure it in the front. Great job, man. Hey, did you ever get that mark 2 ac set up for your pickup, or are you still just running the milwaukee? I remember you mentioning you might look into it. I'm looking into it myself. Mark 2 vs Mark 3.
@@alvinmann7675 Thank you thank you! I actually have just been using the Milwaukee this year. Hasn’t been horrible for me. Mark 3 was advertised on the site but then it disappeared. Maybe it’s back on the site now 🤷♂️ Maybe next year for me. Summer is almost done.
@Mr.AlexKogan Yeah I haven't seen the mark 3 advertised any where for sale only the 2. Looks the the 3 puts out a lot more btu's. Cool man thanks. I know some guys idle all night. I won't. Have a good one man thanks for responding 👍💪
@@Happ1971 if theres something on the trailer like a head rack that prevents it from going forward then only one strap per 10ft. If not then two are required and then one more each additional 10ft.
It looks to me like you've got a great dispatcher working for you who watches for loads in advance of you traveling through or arriving in a given area and IMHO thats huge!
@Mr.AlexKogan definitely look into it it's good for small loads heading in the same direction I've been a driver for about 5 year's have you ever seen the show shipping wars?
Hi Alex. New sub here. I’m from just north of Tampa myself. CDL-A driver otr. Do you have vids on how to get into hotshot? How you did it & what you wished you had done different? Or what should be done in a certain order? I’m curious on many things. Do you have an email? Or can I text you on the number I found online? Thanks 😊

The forks should have something securing them. DOT would consider it an attachment.

@@Mr.AlexKoganI always leave my trans in neutral and set my parking brake. Saves the parking pawl in your trans from the violent rocking.
@@patrickcarcamo622 Not a bad idea. Would the parking brake be strong enough to hold though when something is rolling in or off the trailer?

On longer loads... I thought you had to have a strap within 4 feet of the ends per dot... or is this not true? Great video!
