Politicians not Answering Questions Compilation

- However bad it appears, politicians often just won't engage topics they're not comfortable with. I've tried to count two things:
1. Exact repeated questions by the interviewer.
2. Politicians trying to move to another issue or answering a different question to the one asked.
Not answering is worse than answering badly.
It’s not because sometimes the viewer forgets the question that was asked
Interviewers of politicians really don’t get the credit that they deserve for their patience.
Politicians could not tell the truth even if there life depended on it.

It's not that they can't tell the truth. Politics is all a game. We would love to act like all voters are smart well informed individuals who base their decisions on concrete facts and critical thinking. But they aren't. The masses are asses.
When your running as a politician or currently are on. EVERYTHING YOU SAY can and will be used, twisted and mutilated to make you look the worst.
Just think about it for a second.
You could ask a simple question like "Do you believe in God"
It such a simple answer that should be yes or no.
But as a politician you can't do that. Not because they are slimey and trying to trick you. It's because people are fucking dumb and will become agressive and stop voting if they do support god and you say no.
You could have the best policies and have a plan that would genuinely save the world...doesn't matter now. You've said you don't believe in God. Now according to the voters and your opposition. Your a god hating heathen.
I'm going on a rant here, but I hope this paints a picture of how incredibly fucking difficult being a politician is.
