the only thing i can add to the cable management is... more LEDS! 1 LED = +1 FPS
    good to see you again!

For cable management under the desk, i used small 3d printed loops for velcro strips, that way i dont have to print anything bigger than it needs to be + i can change the velcro strip when i need room for 5 more cables or something like that.
I really love the holes you made, especially with that galaxy black pla. Currently i dont need holes, but now i want them.. thanks lmao
    Nice video Norman!

From my perspective as an engineer in research, development and construction, your cable management has become very good. To be honest, the many ill-conceived constructions on the 3D printing platforms annoy me enormously. Good ideas are often implemented poorly, so I often spend a lot of time in adapting the net- structures. In general, it's a shame that a close-knit society has become a sales hype for constructions, but thats another theme and at the moment I´ve shared myself not a single construction because of no time to do it easy explained and really good.// Just a little tip for your designs, try using PCTG. It is simply more forgiving in terms of impact and bending. With PETG, robust constructions break too quickly for me. PCTG is a better filament in my opinion. Have a nice print! :-)

I really enjoyed seeing you explain your setup, Norman. Your passion for this held my attention and I learned a lot.

Awesome work man, love my 3d printer and sounds like you have the same philosophy as me with making things your own and customising what you can! So good

Great work on the video! Also I love how you can see the 2.4 upside down in the background!

I was actually looking for some cable management ideas for a guitar pedal board, but this was interesting anyway. I've been designing musical instruments and tools like drill blocks, shockproof microphone holders etc.
I don't have any ideas beyond the excellent ones you've already show here, but I do have a suggestion for design discipline and workflow. To get around the problem of variations in size and make designs able to be re-used when things change slightly, I make all designs parametric now. In other words, if I have a design for the fipple for a 'D' Irish whistle but now need a 'C' fipple, I just open a spreadsheet, change the relevant parameters (pipe diameter, windway and labium parameters) and get it to recalculate the drawing.
Lots of programmes can work this way, but I'm using FreeCAD. You do have to think a little differently when designing this way, but like designing specifically for additive manufacturing (support, layer directions etc) spending a little more time now can literally save you hundreds of hours later as you re-use what can sometimes be very complex designs.

I think, it's much more better when you don't need to drill anything. So When you need to make some adjustment there won't be old hole.

I also have a height adjustable desk and want a clean setup. I just couldn't find the motivation to deal with that mess. My PC is on a self-made mount under the desk. I'm also planning to incorporate an igus cable chain. I also had the idea to make a custom cable for Power and Ethernet that includes both within a single cable and connector that goes from the bottom of the desk to a custom wall outlet (my desk has wheels, so a single cable would be nice).

My Webcam sits on top of my monitor light and it gives an odd perspective.
You having it below is a great idea!
But does the light interfere with the camera?

hm, it can be done better. Maybe you can put cables in channel and close it up. Or print channel with holes for cables, like the pros wire electrical cabinets.

Hi Norman, ist dein Tastatur Kabel beweglich in dem Loch? wäre für die Maus Interessant
And by the Way, dein Voron rechts im Bild steht auf dem Kopf🤣
