- We spend a day with Casper The White Lion and his three Shish Brothers resting after a massive feast on a Wildebeest they caught the previous night.
Later that afternoon the Brothers could hear intruding Lions roaring in the distance.
Who these intruding Lions are we do not know.
The Brothers responded with loud and impressive roaring to let the intruders know that they are now in the Shish Coalition territory!
Notice the brave Jackal at the end of the video feasting on leftovers from the Lions kill.
Film just north of Satara Rest-camp in Kruger National Park, South Africa.
GAME DRIVE ETIQUETTE - RULES (SANParks):
- When you come across a sighting, slowly pull over on the side of the road closest to the animal, but keep a safe distance and turn OFF your engine
- If there are animals in the road, immediately stop at least 20 m from them
- The lane furthest from the sighting should NEVER be blocked, so that others can pass if they want to
- Don’t linger longer than a few minutes at a sighting, so that others can view it too
- Never go off the designated roads
- Never climb out of your vehicle during a drive, or hang out of your car windows or sunroof
- Don’t hoot or blare loud music
- Avoid driving into vegetation, as this could damage the environment or kill small animals
- During night drives, never shine a spotlight directly in animals’ eyes
- Never make noise to get animals to move, stand up or otherwise react for pictures
- Respect the rangers, and always comply with their requests or instructions

Sooo glad to see all 4 brothers together again! Mfowethu was away for awhile & I was very worried about him. They’re all looking very handsome & healthy, as always!! Thank you for the wonderful video on our precious Shish boys! 🧡🧡🤍🧡
Bond of brothers! Stronger than ever. Thanks 👍👍👍👍
Always good to see the brothers together, and with full bellies. I believe that was Mfowethu doing the roaring, letting the encroaching lion know he's in their territory. Love that smart little jackal at the end; he knows to follow the feasting lions, and when he's patient, he'll get his share.
Handsome Casper and his brothers looks good ❤❤❤. Thank you for sharing ❤
Hopefully the intruders are just passing through but whatever happens the Shish boys are together, full bellied and aware. Just need to rest up now and regain strength. Lovely video Africa Advenrures, so fantastic to be able to keep.up with this amazing coalition. Many thanks as always.

Wow 😲 they are all together looking WELL FED 😁 and Casper is doing 👍 great, I was wondering if there was any OLD videos of the 4 brothers when they were only CUBS! It'd be great to see Casper n brothers when they were little with the pride and mother? 🦁
Nice
Im So glad to See them All together
I just recently found this channel. I'm surprised to see the jackel come that close to the lions. I wonder what it was interested in.
Lions don't touch jackal. They are often around lions to be protect from jaguar.
@@Tony-bd2ux Do you mean leopards? Jaguars don't live in Africa.
CASPER SEEMS LIKE HE'S NOT HAPPY, CASPER SEEMS DOWN, HE'S NOT LOOKING LIKE A PROUD LION SHOULD, HEAD UP HIGH AND STRUTING HIS THING LIKE PROUD MALE SHOULD. I LIKE CASPER HE'S A BEAUTIFUL MALE LION. I'VE SEEN OTHER MALE LION'S STRUTING AROUND LIKE THERE IN A AKC DOG SHOW. I JUST WORRY THAT HE'S NOT HAPPY, I DON'T KNOW ALOT ABOUT MALE LION'S. I'VE RAISED ANIMAL'S, MAYBE HE TRYING NOT TO CAUSE ANY PROBLEMS WITH HIS BIG BROTHER. ALOHA, BIG BEC
at least they are together anf full.
They're beautiful
Very precious boys right there! Just out of interest, how old are these brothers?
واو أتمنى لك يوما موفقا
Are these the sons of the Ross males? I remember there was a , young birmingham male in the pride about two years ago
They are the sons of the Shishangaan Males - Xihamham and Old Grumpy
Oh leo brothers com-on and roar , com on and roar, all four comc on and roar; then call upon your lionesses , sons, and daughters and com on and roar, com on and roar till all the other leos silence their roars and divert their course and flee
What's going on with Casper and his brothers?? Did they not here another male lion roaring in their territory? Why did they not charge this lion?
Rarely occupant male lions charges at first roars.. They judge the distances by the roar.. they only roars back to warn off the intruder if its still at a considerable distance away..
It was (the roaring back) also some kind of decoy tactic.. because when occupant lion do 'charges' at intruder they often did it in subtle moves.. closing in silently and ambushes the intruder when they're in 'charging' distance..
Also, if the occupant lion is in a coalition.. one of them would be very vocal (staying at a bit distance from its partner) while collectively approaching the intruder.. and when they eventually close to the intruder, one would initiate a chase-and-retreat moves repeatedly to gauge the boldness/strength and/or disparate the weakling or the aggressive one among the intruder coalition (a tactic that they often utilized in choosing target among herd of their preys)..
So unless the two side accidentally came upon each other.. conflicts usually take days, weeks, or even months to escalate into an actual clashes..
Thank you very very much for that imput! I get it now. I think. Lol.
@@ada-dech thank you also I thought they just fought
Hard to hear with the engine idling
There is a coalition of 6 young and old Lions in the area ,hopefully there is no conflict with them .
Which coalition?
