    Reminds me of the days I spent leaving Devonport on HMS MANXMAN an ex 2nd World War fast Minelayer. Unfortunately she became too old for continuing service. I was the posted to HMS TYNE the submarine depot ship In Devonport at the time. That was in the early 70's

      My old man was on the Manxman back in the late 1940s, but only for passage from HMS Sheba to HMS Tamar, where he joined another ship👍🏻⚓️

    What a glorious name for a warship IRON DUKE, thought I did expect to see a Dreadnought :)

      Named after Lord Wellington I understand, fantastic ship though and the T23s are worked extremely hard too!
