This is my favorite movie of all time glad to see something like this exists. New Dawn Fades is such an amazing track and the entire scene in this movie is literally my favorite one from this movie. Beautiful job with this one ! Now I can listen to this while reading Heat 2 👏😎

Unbelievable book. I wish they would do a Netflix of / HBO miniseries. There's way too much in that book to put in a two-and-a-half-hour movie.
@@ISeeO.J. Agree. A mini series would be ideal to tell this story over multiple episodes. Especially since Mann directed the first episode of Tokyo Vice.
@@I.O.M. I would just be nervous that they might try to get a much younger cast and modernize it. I wish they would just get a bunch of actors that look like the main characters, I would go with an international unknown cast.

Amazing this movie is almost 30 years and we still love it. Just like Godfather, Shawshank, Scarface, Star Wars etc. It’s a timeless classic.

There is a select few that with only a moments notice can pack there stuff and leave. Everything i would take can easily fit in my car. Can you say the same ?
I lived my life that way for 16 years. From 97 to 2013 when last got out. Rented rooms in cheap motels and apartment buildings throughout LA and Long Beach in between county jail stays. Paid to have fake pay stubs for probation officers. Was selling hot merch and middle maning at the time. The life leads you no where stable but it was an interesting experience and I would be lying if I said along with a broken home and early family influences watching Heat didn’t influence my decisions in those early adult years. I have since changed my direction and for the last 10 years have lived a straight life and have a family now. But I’ll never forget those years out there running around town living day to day. And the philosophy of heat kept me out of serious trouble or danger. It’s definitely a young man’s game. Respect to all

I was more of a low level guy that hung around harbor area and picked up all my hustles from dive bars and pawn shops around town. I was also good at keeping relationships with dudes I met in county. I wasn’t connected or anything like that to anyone major. Just others on my level and a few bikers. I never made more than a few thousand a month, had a major drinking problem and wasn’t responsible enough to be a gangster. My biggest pay day ever was $18k in a month but that was one time. Making big money illegally is not easy. I was just caught up
