Thanks we did that on our older one but didn’t find we needed it much. It didn’t need much clean out and when it did we just cleaned it when they drank it down before refilling it
@@SurvivalHT Slick idea. Finally figured out your Blue eyes and why so exotic. My ex and college gal friend had blue eyes without the encircling ring. 👍
One problem I have is that I have a little in the way of money and deliver car parts for a living for a major auto parts chain. Point is I am a renter and don’t have a lot of land to do much of what you’re talking about. I love your channel however. I implement what I can. Thank you for sharing all of these amazing ideas and tips skills.
Thank you so much for the great, easy-to-follow video!! I have a question: I saw where your chicken and rabbit run froze over during this last winter. Do you find that this chicken water fountain (love that!! 😉) has a tendency to freeze when it’s cold? Or do you wrap it to prevent freezing issues? I live in TN, where the weather can be awfully schizophrenic, lol, so I would appreciate any advice you’d be willing to give. Thank you again for sharing your wisdom!!
We don’t normally get much freezing weather here so it’s not an issue for us. If we did I would probably insulate it. The water in the cups did freeze but nothing broke and everything was fine when it thawed. The water in the totes didn’t freeze
@@SurvivalHT We get to freezing temps pretty regularly in the winter, so we will definitely look into insulating it. Again, thank you so much for the amazing videos!!
I'm a girl, so not meaning this in a weird, creepy way...but...you have THEE MOST BEAUTIFUL EYES I've ever seen! My hubby agrees (besides mine, of course! 😉)! GOD BLESS!! ❤
They are pretty thick. The rabbits don’t chew them. But then again in a cage they might because they are board in a cage. In a colony they don’t chew things up like they do in cages.
Great idea. Consider adding a drain plug at lowest point to facilitate clean out without disconnecting the waterers. Best

I use those cups also. But we put a gutter on the coop that fills a container for the birds.
Thank y'all, Love from the Heart of Texas.

That’s a great idea… wish I would have seen it before I bought a rent a coop watering bucket.

Same thing. We did the same thing in the rabbit pen as we did in the chicken pin. Works great for both

Great video nicely done.but don't look so Mean at the camera ok .
That's just her being expressionless.
You didn't show anything about parts or diy I didn't learn a damn thing!!
When you buy them they come with all the parts. And all parts were shown. It’s just the cup and the wing nut.
