    That pass to Kessel in the Tampa series was unbelievable. He lead him like 50 feet right on his stick. too bad Kessel didn't score because that would have been one of the best assists I've ever seen.

      He also got robbed on the backhand right after it. If Crosby had scored there that would have went down as one of the best sequences in playoff history.

    hats off Mr. Crosby. indisputably the best on earth.

    Crosby's passing was unbelievable in this year's playoffs along with his discipline by not letting the rough forecheck get to him. Crosby elevated his game by becoming a smarter more disciplined player but his passing really hasn't gotten enough credit over the years and this year people finally saw just how complete of a player Crosby was.

      Very true. People say Crosby didn't deserve the Conn Smythe, but just because he didn't have the most goals or points, he was the most complete player on the ice. He did a bit of everything, and that's why he was mvp.

    I liked how you included some of his great plays that didn't score, especially during the Washington series. That just shows that he was still playing well then, he just got shut down.

    This vid was good bc it shows so much of what he does on that ice that gets overlooked by fans that dont pay much attention to what goes on other than goals (basically, half assed hockey fans). Hes involved in almost every play that results in a goal one way or the other. Cant even say hat about Ovi. Thats why Crosby is better all in all.

      kicker121000 Your right there is so much going on behind the puck that not many pick up on TV doesn't do it any good mostly because it just only follows the puck and not the behind the scenes work that goes on

    I will never forget Crosby setting up the play that led to the Game 2 OT winner. His IQ alone sets him above all others.

    Some solid contributions on ASSISTS. and some solid snipes FOR GOALS. Convincing highlight reel for the MVP.
    Also thoroughly enjoyed the highlights of sick passes that didn't score. He was grinding out there.

    Video helps illustrate how good Crosby was even though he wasn't a point per game. Sheary was injured/overwhelmed after the first round and Hornqvist's hand was injured in the second or third round too. He carried that line for much of the playoffs.

    As a pens fan, I have a crazy amount of respect for John Cooper, the Lightnings head coach. In the video he says to Sid, bring the cup home, respect. In the showtime series that followed the NHL playoffs, Coop had control of his locker room and seemed well respected by the team. Good guy.

      He had 4 of those same very snipes during the playoffs, 1 on Lundy, 2 on Vasy, and one on jones.

      Wtf lol Ovechkin was in the playoffs, you mean the Stanley Cup finals. You can't really blame Ovi either because he did his part this year, his team let him down.

    • @marcjones9029
      @marcjones9029 8 лет назад +1

      Don't they always? Let him down, Poor Ovechkin lol
      Guess I Missed His Playoff Highlights, what all 4 of them??

    • @davidmccalla6799
      @davidmccalla6799 8 лет назад +2

      Marc Jones Well your wrong dude. Ovi had more points than Crosby in the second round. The reason why the Pens won that series was because of the HBK line and because of Matt Murray not Crosby or Malkin. Williams, Backstrom and Kuzy didn't do anything in that series. Also in the NHL it takes more than one player to win a cup you need the whole team, it's not like basketball where a superstar can dominate the game.
