- Biker Rally Gone Wrong! After riding 2,000 miles round trip from Ohio to Oklahoma for the Stubborn American Rally at @adamsandoval's Campground, I had the genius idea of challenging Adam to a Tug of War battle for charity. Adam surprised everyone by adding "Mash" (A byproduct of making vodka) into the pit. It. Was. DISGUSTING! BUT I still had the time of my life and by how difficult it was for me to get back home... I think it shows.

Hey Jess, you know you’re doing well on those long distance trips, but alone it’s a lonely ride and as we age it gets harder because it’s hard on the body. The other guys doing iron butts are realizing the same that every time they go out it gets harder. The initial run you’re pumped and excited. Going back home the thrill wears down and we feel the mileage as they add up. Either way I’m glad you made it back home safe and had a good time. Thanks for the videos.

Hey Jess. Great time at the Kriver. Great meeting you. I did 2100 miles round trip. It gets harder on me as I get older. I rode thru the night coming home in 37 degrees. Can't take the cold like I used to. Ride safe

That was a fun video, Jess. However, there is no way I would ever enter a burnout contest. It is too much wear and tear on the bike and tires are expensive, Have a great week.

Yeah, the mornings here in the Ozarks have been pretty cold. Glad you made it safe back home. I am only learning about the Stubborn American Rally from you, and Its only 4-5 hours away from me, so maybe I will try to make it there next year :D
Looks like a fun trip. I bought a Shoei RF1400. Really like it. Almost went with the Notec II but decided to get the full face instead of the modular.
You are true biker through & through Jess. I so enjoy moto camping on my trips. I think the Road Glide are best traveling bike there is.

It’s my preferred way. Unless I am seeking out a beautiful road, getting from point A to point B the fastest is my goal.

Unfortunately, I'm out till possibly next year, due to waiting on back order parts for my bike. I've learned a valuable lesson. Don't drive beyond your skill level, otherwise you'll wreck on a hair-pin turn speeding and have to wait an eternity for parts to repair your bike. 😪☹😤

You may not like spiders, but at least they're not bears. Lol Also, I was one of the Neotec 2 proponents in the past Vlog where you complained about the HJC. I knew all it would take was you checking it out and trying it on to make you a convert to the quality of a top-flight Shoei helmet. You will never go back now, and they even have it in your favorite color, as previously mentioned. Congrat's on the new helmet, and the iron butt ride you just did.

Hi Jennifer -
If you need to ride a dirt or gravel road, always remember to stay under about 20mph, keep your clutch in the friction zone, and never grab a handful of front brake... ONLY use the rear.... And don't go past SECOND gear.

The blue whale was my local swimming place when I was a kid. I still ride by it almost every day.
Long distance riding is hard work. Endurance. Its great when you get to your destination

I think it gets harder , cause your mentally aware of the stresses involved .. first times easy .. until it’s a return ride . I suggest you give yourself more days to reach your destination and take a slow wander .

Is the Shoei worth the price tag? Looks like you had a ball. Glad you're home safe. I am leaving Marietta, OH next Mon 10/17 headed for Mena, AR. Doing a 12 day swing down into LA., MS. and AL on the way home. Should be around 2500 miles. Camping every night. Hoping the colors will be peaking and the temp comes up a bit.
Yes, the Shoei is worth the price. I have been riding with them for over 10 years.
