Beautiful vintage Lady. I think the Lady Dior is such a gorgeous bag. I have two medium’s both purchased at the boutique. Black with silver hardware and the limited edition ultra matte blue. Love both. 🙂

I bought the mini lady dior ultra matte black last month and loved her so much that I hunted for a medium vintage LD AND bought a light pink vintage 2007 version with SHW in great condition with the pink dioriossima lining. I can't wait to get it delivered 💖💖💖.

I have 2 vintage Lady Dior. Both are in nylon with patent leather. My medium is an olive green with gold hardware. And the small is black with silver hardware and comes with a longer strap.

Hi I have exactly the same vintage lady Dior she too has no corner wear! So this bag wears really well n such a beauty! I still retain the gold hw tho it’s a bit scratch but it’s not obvious. I carry this bag to work with the strap hehe! Enjoyed your video!
Yes, it's unbelievable how well the lambskin wears! 😄❤ Deciding whether or not to keep the original hardware was a pretty tough decision for me - I wish I would have kept it just like you 😄 The new hardware scratches up pretty easily and I miss the rich gold tone it originally came with. Thank you so much 😊❤ Yes, there will be more videos on Dior bags in the next two weeks 😉 I also think the hardware shouldn't scratch up that easily (just another sign that the quality of vintage bags was a lot better than what gets produced nowadays 🤷🏼♀️). The good thing is you could always get the hardware replaced again after a couple of years and it only costs around £50 - I hope you'll add one to your collection soon 😊❤ Xx

Hi Miriele! 😊❤ Vintage Lady Dior's which have been made between 1994 & 1996 do not come with any code. However, every single bag made from 1997 onwards comes with a date code that tells you where it's been made and in what month and year - I hope that helps! 🥰 Thank you so much for watching and stay safe 😊❤ Xx

I also want one preloved, but 1) they’re quite rare here in Norway and it’s ridicuosly expensive to import via vestaire collective for example 2) I’m really paranoid when it comes to buying preloved because of authenticity and that I think most people aren’t careful enough with their bagbabies 😂😂 #ocd love yours tho! ❣️❣️❣️
Really? You have to pay import tax on Vestiaire Collective? I've only had that when I ordered from the US or Asia but never from within Europe - I'm just waiting for two new bag babies (amazing word btw 😄) from Vestiaire coming from Austria and Italy. The only costs I always have are shipping and authentication 😊 We actually have many vintage Lady Diors here in London - maybe that's a reason to come visit our amazing city once the lockdown is over haha 😄❤ And about authentication, I've got certain companies I trust 100% like Fashionphile, Yoogi's Closet, What Goes Around Comes Around, Amore, Designer Exchange London etc. and if you wanna buy from Vestiaire I would always advice to do a lot of research. I've been a reseller myself since 2017 and I only trust my own eyes and not particularly online authentication services haha 🤷🏼♀️ I hope you'll find a beautiful vintage Lady Dior - the prices are so much better than retail 😄❤ Xx

Do you know if the Lady Dior bag back from 2000 all have gold hardware? I found a second hand one that has silver hardware from 2000. I'm wonder if it's authentic before purchasing because I thought only the later versions have silver hard ware. Thanks!

I just purchased a vintage 1997 Lady Dior Black Lambskin. I have a few questions. What was the cost to replace the hardware and did they replace it with the gold plated or is it just gold color? What else did they do to fix the bag and what was the total cost? Thanks so much for your help! ☺️
Hi Lauren! 😊❤ I made an entire video on all the services and pricing for the Dior Spa - it's called Bag Talk Mondays #1! 🥰 Let me know if you can find the video - I explain everything in detail in there! 😊❤ When it comes to the hardware, they only replace it with gold-coloured metal unfortunately, they don't do the gold-plated hardware anymore. Do you know when Dior stopped using gold plated hardware on their lady dior bag? I have one from 2002 and it has very yellow gold hardware.
I know they were using it in the 90's and I can imagine they still used it in the early 2000's. Chanel stopped using gold-plated hardware in 2007/2008. I have to do some more research to find out about the exact year they stopped using it but if your bag still comes with the rich yellow-gold hardware I think it's very likely it's gold-plated 😊❤ I hope that helps - thank you so much for watching and stay safe Xx

Restructuring did cost £300 at the same when I had my bags restored - it might be a bit more nowadays!! 🌸 I hope that helps!! 🌸🌸🌸 Xx

Good question! 😊❤ I don't have any experiences with them adding feet to a bag - I would call in at your local boutique and ask them if that belongs to their range of repair services too. Let me know what they say - it's a very interesting point! 😄❤ Xx
I've just purchased my own vintage but it's got a few scratches on the handles. How much did it cost for you to replace the handles?
It was £100 two years ago but I think it's gone up to £150 now - I hope that helps Xx
