And again you remind me of the first lesson I learned in catching swarms - not to leave them for more than a week. I'm actually going from trap in boxes to two story nuks this year. This way they have enough space and frames, there is no problem to 'forget' them in the trap for a long time and if it is a large swarm, I can even split it into two hives on the spot, without even taking them out of the nuk.
