NRK shuts down their FM-broadcasts in Norway

This specific shut-down was for the Møre and Romsdal and Trøndelag counties in Norway.
Norway has now decided to shut down FM in favour of DAB+. I still remain sceptical about the complete transition, but time will show....

The question is, what does everyone do with all those nice radios that they have purchased over the years? It looks like that you have some nice equipment sitting right there. What do you supposed to do with all that stuff? You can't just throw it all in a landfill. You should be able to find some other use for it or they should pay the recycling costs. Environmentally this is really damaging. All that electronic waste pouring into landfills. At least that's what we would do in the United States of America.
