  • Inspired by images of Torimbia and other beautiful coastlines, I created a soap scene that suggests a beach, waves, rocks, flowers and green vegetation along a beautiful coast. It is difficult to capture these soaps with photos, but you can see them pretty well at the end of the video where I show all the sides up close. The soap is poured into a slab mold to look like a coastline, and a clear sky is poured on top so that you can see the changes along the coast. This time, I just measured the colors out as I made the soap. For me, this is easier and more fun. It's more like painting a picture. Only with this type of painting, you are painting with your imagination because you can't see what you are doing! I used a half batch of soapncrafts' awesomely easy crystal clear soap from scratch recipe for the sky. You can watch their well done video and recipe instructions here: Make Crystal Clear Soap in Less than 10 minutes by soapncrafts- • Make Crystal Clear Soa... .
    For this soap hybrid, I add salty waves and flowers to the mix! This soap is made with a batch my Shea butter silk recipe and a half batch of translucent soap made from scratch and 7 oz of sea salt. I did not put this in the oven at all after pouring. Spearmint Essential oil and Oregano Essential oil were added along with Jojoba and Castor oils to the cold process and salt portions. I did not put this in the oven at all after pouring. See Chapter 9 (of my free e-book4!) for more information about this soap:

    I like the ease of making this clear soap from scratch, but after a few
    months of this soap curing, I find it to be too wet and it did shrink
    quite a bit. I personally prefer the translucent soap from the recipe I
    show in this video : ( ruclips.net/video/3nTXQb2guec/видео.html
    )which is not as clear, but doesn't have the sweating problem. Lastly, I
    would suggest looking at this video
    (ruclips.net/video/Ka6PBjfLXoI/видео.html ) for making a superior
    crystal wave soap using Melt and Pour and Salted Cold process soap.

      Thank you so much for your kind comments, Tanya💝🤗I suppose that water art themes always fit with soap lol. Plus I just love oceans and bays so much. I am very pleased that you like the music, too! I must say, the music makes it more fun for me when I make the videos! Stay well too, my friend.

    Oh I love your soaps, you are such a creative artist! Would never try to replicate, as would lose myself halfways but it is mesmerising and such a joy to watch. Thank you for another amazing creation❤️🙏

      Thank you so much, Mag💝🤗I hope that if I do enough of these, they might become more intuitive for all of us. Pouring in colored soap and propping up the mold this way and that isn't difficult-it is fun. And it is a blast to cut the soap! But you might notice that I try to weave easy soaps in between the insta-trace scene soaps for those who prefer something a little faster and easier to make.

      Ha ha! I think that when soap looks appealing, it enhances the enjoyment of using it...but tasting it would definitely take away from that enjoyment😄. Thank you for your amusing comment, Annaliese!!💝🤗

    Grace what's the difference in the mixes and the iron oxide??

    • @FromGracetoYou
      @FromGracetoYou  3 года назад +1

      I'm not sure what you are asking about💝🤗 Do you mean green oxide? Which mixes?

    • @justaddlivingwater
      @justaddlivingwater 3 года назад +1

      I meant the micas and oxides sorry yes, which is better? I guess I was thinking mixes cuz you mixed yours with other colors or that dadgom spell check. But yes these oxides, do they have a deeper color a more exact color more natural. I heard they are more natural than micas

    • @FromGracetoYou
      @FromGracetoYou  3 года назад +1

      Personally, I love green oxide. It is my go to green. However, I love some of the bright green colors and micas from Nurture soap too. I love how Nurture soap's colors are pretty much "what you see is what you get" and so it saves me the trouble of blending colors sometimes. As far as the most natural? Well that depends on which vegetation. I look carefully at the vegetation in my images when I choose colors-sometimes it is blue-green, sometimes yellow-green, sometimes it has light green, white, black or gray highlights or shadows. When it comes to natural green, the best I have found is spinach powder. In the end, I just choose the colors that best match the images of my inspiration and blend from there. I hope I answered your question.🤗
