Balancing:
You can only use every perk ONCE per set on both sides. Survivors can bring 1 cracker.
For the Best of 5's (Semis) and Best of 7 (Final) every perk can be chosen twice

Survivor crouches to start chase timer, Killer has to swing after the crouch.
If both chase times in a set are within half a second and its unreasonable to figure out who had the better time we will replay the set

Serious question, but isn’t this completely unfair if every 1v1 has different RNG setups with pallets? You get lucky with the pallets and it’s natural you’ll take longer to get hit. And Trapper has no way to slow someone down vs Doctor etc, so even killer choice affects the timings of how long players can survive for?
Just like in normal DBD there is rng and variations that can offer an advantage but from experience it's fairly rare for the player who played better to lose. Not saying it doesn't happen tho.
@@notHens Shame there is no way to turn off RNG and have a default layout for every map in customs. Surely that can’t be hard to code either!
@@danowen79honestly think that would get a bit boring but limiting rng is always desired to some degree
In theory you could actually fix this as each map has a provided seed, so if you were to mod the game and run a server (Not sure if it's P2P or not) somehow with the mod to fix the seed it could be done, not certain though
I think even in a perfect world where seeded maps were a thing, the killer player who goes first would always have the advantage unless there was scouting time beforehand to see connecting tiles etc
