The first island was really fun, island 2 was okay but still engaging. Chaos island is just exhausting. Even if you unlock all the fast travel rails first, it’s insane how much backtracking you have to do and still have no idea how to get to your destination. Worst stage in the game so far
@@volonidminus I can’t get to the floating island to unlock the way to the red emerald 😆 I’ve been back-and-forth like four times. I was there once but I left not knowing that’s where I needed to go to get to the floating island thing. I just really hate the way his level is designed
Agreed. This Island is just really annoying. I just got through the Saw Blade Chase which was really frustrating, I really could have done without this nonsense too straight after it.

That's dumb. The game is amazing but the devs kinda suck at making places easily accessible. I was loving this game until this island. I hate this island. So many areas on the map that force you into 2d mode and in order to get to places right in your face you have to go out and around everything.
Gonna be honest, despite this island being a pain in the ass, it also fits with tails in a way, you have to constantly work your way around the situation and think of how you're going to get from one place to another, while also trying not to go absolutely insane, and when you eventually find that solution you feel relieved This pattern seems to fit with a lot of the islands we've seen Island 1: it's more calm and less chaotic because of who Amy is, yes there's enemies here and there but it also feels nice, like you just want to sit back and relax for a bit instead of running around 24/7 Island 2: it's more chaotic because of who knuckles is, knuckles is a rough and tumble guy while also managing to be well easily tricked, which is why a lot of the enemies are either completely annoying or rough to beat, like tank for example So, yeah, I agree Island 3 is absolute hell at it's finest, but it fits in a way
it's also kind of funny that it shows a huge advantage that tails has that sonic doesn't, he's just chillin on this floating platform (probably bc he just... flew over there) meanwhile us as sonic are losing our collective minds wondering how the hell we get over there ourselves

I actually found the path after 4 hours of trial and error and I still don't know what I did 😂 There was no reason for it to be this challenging omg I still can't figure out the birds either 😭
I literally used the metal bird that was flying around shooting me! 🤦🏻♀️😂 Once you block the shot you can ride that bird anywhere and I just jumped off on the island that Tails was on! I'm definitely gonna use your way next time tho finding that metal bird is not easy 😂
I wouldn't have a problem if the game just provided a damn waypoint on where you actually needed to go instead of just having us run around aimlessly for potentially hours.
I'm only struggling through this game because I enjoy the cyber levels so much. Ive never played a game with so much promise that constantly slaps you in the face with awful awful design choices. Man it's depressing what this game couldve been.

Island 1 and 2 are both tons of fun, and while this one isn’t bad it’s definitely the roughest patch, being a bit monotonous
