I am from India, same happened in Pune. Where a rich boy killed 2 ppl in accident he ws drunk. The police and court tried to protect him, but after huge public protest he ws sent to juvenille home as he is a minor but his father and grandfather has been arrested. Hope ppl of pakistan too protest and ensure the poor gets justice.
Yeah I was following up on that incident and hats off to Indian people for standing up but again I believe father and grandfather will get away at some point may be in a year once this social media uproar is slowed down

Shehzad I grew up in Karachi in the eighties. This is nothing new. Someone I knew whose uncle was prominent in PPP politics killed a man while breaking a red light. I heard he may have been intoxicated at the time. The police arrested him but one phone call later he was released. He now lives abroad and probably doesn’t even remember what happened or how much damage he caused. Pakistan is a paradise if you’re connected, god help you if you’re not.

Whenever there's any issue involving ladies, girls, or children, it's absolutely crucial for the Rangers to be the first responders because all women in Pakistan are equal, and everyone's respect is the same. The fact that the Rangers arrived before the police is a major tragedy, a question mark. Secondly, the boy who stood there and took a stand, refusing to allow her to sit in the air-conditioned car-hats off to him for his determination. Hats off to that boy and to all the people present who supported this cause.

Cameron Herrin was 17 when killed a mother and her child while racing. He was sentenced to 24 years in jail. There was outrage, an appeal, and it did not save him. The judge refused to consider a lower sentence. That is what the law should be about. Unfortunately, Pakistan is a jungle where only the mighty prevail. Laanat hai.

I used to go to university with my father on a bike daily and today I cry while going to university thinking about what pain their family went through after the death of these 2 family members. My heart was so heavy all the day. I can't stop thinking about that girl and her father. May Allah give them high rank in jannah. Please our fathers have done so much for us. Regarding diyyat, even if the victim's family forgives the offender, the state can intervene and punish the offender with a tazir punishment.

Speaking from India, we had a similar incident couple of montha back when a spoilt brat took the liberty of killing two innocent people at night while being drunk....but guess what he was not an adult so he was not given harsh punishment!!
Surprising thing is that I've heard similar stories about western countries too but in their case the offender has to be of super wealthy background. The main culprit in these cases I think is the judiciary system promoted by the socio-capitalist regimes. I hate modern law & order.

As per companies Act 2017, insane person can't hold any director position. As she was holding multiple director positions, all companies have violated the Companies Act 2017.Either let Natasha serve her sentence (expected) or shut down your all businesses.
they can simply claim that they didn't know or she was not sick at the time to recruit because not all mental illness are same, at best they are going to be charged with a sum and order for strict recruitment policy. With a normal court procedure she is going to be free unless they prove somehow that she is not mentally ill.

Hey, I wanted to bring your attention to a serious issue in Bufferzone, Karachi. The Ghaus Al Azam Road was demolished by KMC about four months ago, and since then, no construction work has been done. The road is in terrible shape now-it literally looks like a war zone with potholes and debris everywhere. It’s become almost impossible for people to even walk on it. There’s no sidewaslk, and the entire area is being taken over by fruit and vegetable vendors and shop owners who are encroaching on public space.
This situation is really frustrating for the local residents. We’re all wondering when KMC will finally start rebuilding the road. It’s been way too long, and the condition is so bad that it feels like we’re living in a neglected village. Could you please visit this area and highlight this issue in your vlog? Maybe some public attention will push the authorities to take action. Your help would be greatly appreciated!

It's not any tribal area case or family dispute where diyat is to be applied. It's a high profile criminal case, the State should be the party and culprit must be punished as per law.

Shehzad youve raised a very good point about the possibility of settlement in these cases, I think it's a part of Islamic jurisprudence upon which deliberation is long overdue and hardly has any place in modern criminal justice systems.

Very recently a kid son of a builder(sounds familiar) 7:00 driving his Porsche in Pune after downing 7 drinks in a bar killed a person.His grandfather tried to order his drivers to say that it was he who was driving.Thank God he refused and reported.

This is the finest opportunity to discuss road safety laws and driving etiquette. The discussion should be centered around all vehicle categories and all kinds of drivers. The attitudes we see on the road are prevalent in the rich and the poor alike. People on luxury cars, on bikes, and on trucks, or on carries all have the same merciless and profoundly vile attitude on roads. I routinely encounter people on all kinds of vehicles who give the overwhelming impression that they do not care if they live or die or if others around them on the road live or die. This is not an elite-only issue. The sooner this segregation is shattered and the true nature of the people in Pakistan is discussed the better. Because, if not an suv, you'll see someone trample people on a bus or run over someone on a bike or rickshaw tomorrow. Everyone in Pakistan is either inherently mean-spirited or they just get that way when they drive.
I am pleased that the nationality, race, language, and accent of the accused in the Karsaz tragedy, or her ethnicity, are not being targeted.
In contrast, during the Shahzeb Jatoi case, the entire Sindhi community was targeted and ridiculed in the media and social circles.
We must remember that oppressors belong to no nation, language, or religion, but the oppressed belong to everyone.

It is not Shariah Law but Elite Law. In Shariah if Victim party not agreed with Diyat(compensation) then criminal is punished with same crime that committed Criminal (an Eye for eye, nose for nose tooth for tooth and life for life ).
