Brilliant video, I personally prefer full power for advanced turns, great video. Also, if you want to turn at 90 degrees you can, just make sure you have full power and keep your nose on the horizon with the rudder you will hit your own slipstream unless it is windy. Best aeroplane ever made, even idiots like me fly them well. Sorry, I only flew it's offspring, the Cessna 150 and 152 all derived from the bird dog and most had nose wheels and nose wheel steering on the ground. Probably the best aircraft ever built and has trained thousands of pilots both military and civilian all over the world. Reliable, stable, cheap to run and maintain.
Hi Bob Jones! Thank you for your comment. It’s an honor for me to have your posting here. Thx for your service and I am glad you made it back home. You guys had balls of steel!
@@BobJones-dq9mx wow 🤩 I Never saw this plane before. Just read the text at Wikipedia... super silent observation plane,.... gosh you really had the full program over there! Thanks for this..... I love the Birddog since I was a boy,...and I had the opportunity to fly with my dad at the Austrian army since I was 5 years old. Now I have my own one,... and I was so impressed when i heared about Forward Air Controllers, that I started this channel. Their bravery and missions must be kept for the next generations.
Toll. Sehr wertvoll für alle Piloten.
