Great work really enjoyed. I'm a coach driver doing holiday tours so get to go to numerous great locations..... Brighton being one of them of course and love hitting the streets with my cameras. Loving my newly acquired GX9 with the Panasonic Leica 15mm and also tiny Fuji X70. Keep up the cool work ❤
Oh, I had a feeling of déjà vu looking at this photo 2:20 . The lady behind the window immediately reminded me of the older female ornithologist in Hitchcock's "The Birds". Surely you remember the gas station scenes in that movie. Thank you again for this very interesting video with all your fantastic photo art work and many inspiring motifs. I really enjoyed watching. Best regards.
I'm so glad I discovered your YT channel! The pictures are insanly beautiful! Make me want to do street photography again! Please more, more, more, haha! Thank you so much!
I thought your wife see in only B&W but her colour multilayered images look even better, at least to me, in this video. Definitely, she has the composition skill not too many street photographers have, including myself.
Thanks for this video! I've been following your channel for a while now and I have been inspired by you to get a leica monochrom. Question, what color filters do you recommend that I start with on the B&W? and Do you recommend a polarizer filter? Thank you in advance and again for these videos!
We use yellow filters on our cameras. We do lose a stop of exposure as a result, but the improvement in tonal range is worth it. Never used a polariser. I’m not sure how you would use it on an M. I guess you could use live view on later models than ours but it’s not a natural filter for an M in my opinion.
Great shots! One of the things that I love about the "Leica look" is the natural tendency towards high contrast and heavy blacks. I usually let that go and, if anything, tend to exploit it. I see that you do as well with much success. Beautiful work!
I personally think the quality of the lenses has the biggest influence on how the images look. I’ve seen Leica cameras with cheap Chinese lenses and they do lack that something-you-can’t-put-your-finger-on look that the Leica lenses have.
I like your content and the commitment to your art. I notice that a high percentage of your images seem to be taken at around eye level. Would it be possible to see some from different eye perspectives?
You and Sarah have some mad talent..cudos to u sir...love to watch you content to learn and be inspired..btw future tutorials on edits in colour I loved the colours and composition
Yes I shoot some color, but I find my eye going all over the photos. My Fuji cameras have one drive setting that allows me to shoot three variations at once. I often have it set to one B&W and two color simulations. For some subjects color works best. I enjoy your work.
Some of these could really use some subtitles. Mostly just because I want to know whats going on. Like the two in a row hand-over-mouth photos. I crave context.
@@WalkLikeAlice Thanks. I recognized one or more from the editing videos. The two black and whites where people were covering their mouths in perhaps shock or confusion were provocative enough that I felt compelled to ask.
@@realdoctorobvious I don’t think there was anything obvious other than a reaction to something they’d seen. Certainly nothing that caught Sarah’s eye outside of their reaction. Thanks for asking though.
What a brilliant set of street images. Thanks for sharing the results of your hard work
Thank you, Paul. Glad you enjoyed them.
Hello Sarah & Jeff,
Nice photos, and enjoyable video, thank you.
Take care.
Paul,,
Thanks Paul
Fantastic shots....compliments...I love the the b&N shots particularly......
Thank you
all of the shot s were great but the one with the pigeons is just mindblowing
I like that one too but Sarah is so-so about it. It’s strange how we look at our own work!!
J
Superb - these are the sorts of images I aspire to. Inspirational to say the least.
Thank you so much.
It’s so beautiful when you and your wife sharing the same hobby. 😍
lol. Thank you. But it’s how we make our living 😉

Thanks Phillip. The GX9 was my main street camera for a year or so with the Leica 12mm. Great camera.
Great technique, ultra fast, superb compositions and layers and the ability to engage with people.
Amazed!
You are very kind. Thank you.
One of the world's best black and white street shooters overnight becomes one of the world's best colour street shooters. I loved this video.
I’m not sure about that but thanks so much for the kind comment. ☺️
So beautiful video ❤😍
Very much enjoy and inspired by you videos....Thank you...Well done!
Thank you so much
I was the first to like it .
Thanks for the sharing
Thank you for watching. We really appreciate it.
Fantastic to see my home town in all its colour and eccentricity. I miss it even more after watching this . Thanks for reminding me what I'm missing 😊
Glad you enjoyed it.
Fabulous set of photos 😊
Thank you ❤️
The top notch shots we've come to expect. I always love your (both) photos when you turn to face the sea.
Thanks Geoff. 🙏🙏

Thanks Monika. The Birds is a movie we haven’t seen for many years. One of those old Hitchcock films which was quite unnerving!!
Color photographs add a nice change and dimension to your photos.
Thank you. I think it’s been coming for a while now. Sarah is shooting all colour now. The images in the video were taken a couple of months ago.
@@WalkLikeAlice It’s nice to hear that. Looking forward to the color photos from a skillful and experienced black and white photographer!
Really good to see the colour work, enjoyed very much.
Thanks Iain.
Probably the best account for stills. 🔥
Thank you. We try.
Excellent. As usual! 👍👏👏
Thank you 🙏
Great shots!
Thank you

Excellent images, as ever and on my patch too - I live nearby. I recognised a few of the characters who always seem to inhabit "The Laines"
Thank you. We see the same whenever anyone shoots in Blackpool.
A really interesting contemporary take. Gave me quite a few ideas. Thanks.
Thanks for watching

Yes I would agree. Colour allows her to get more depth into her compositions.
Great work guys, and the upbeat music really suited IMO.
Thanks Stephen. Much appreciated.

Thank you so much. Colour images coming thick and fast over the next month or so.
@@WalkLikeAlice much tanx to u and sarah..be safe out there
Brillant!
Thank you
Fabulous images. Brighton is a wonderful place. Captured brilliantly, you can almost smell the sea and hear the gulls. What lens were you using?
Thank you. 28mm for everything 🙂

Given how much time goes into these videos, something like that would take too long for us. Sorry.
@@WalkLikeAlice I understand.
@@realdoctorobvious we do have some commentary on our image of the week series. That might be worth looking at.

What Leica? Thanks in advance.
M9 for colour. M Monochrom for the b+w.
So who is Alice?
