3:11 Years ago, we were in Flagstaff at a Sizzler's, and this cute Navajo waitress starts speaking to my mother in Navajo, my mother didn't understand, because she's not Navajo, rather she is of Denai (Apache) origin.
Hey Apache’s and Navajos are closely related (I think), despite this we still have troubles understanding each other but from what I remember apaches and Navajos are the closest related out of all of us Southern Athabaskan people.

Because for every 1 Native American Comedian, you have 1000 Jewish guys, 1000 White Guys, and 1000 Black guys all trying to jump through the same hoop at the same time as the Native to get that exposure first. I dont know if you’ve really noticed, but comedy as an industry has really been dominated by those 3 races for a long time.
Yaqui Natives originally came from Mexico up to Arizona about 1885 because the Mexican Government declared war on them and most were sent to the Yucatan for slavery. When they got to Arizona, they were placed on Reservations with no opposition, due to where they came from.
