I was a teen back in the early 00s and followed football closely. It’s no secret Henry was considered the best in the world from about 02/03-05 ish.
He had the most goals/assists in Europe from 2000-2004 ish.
The players that you’ve mentioned were either not in their prime and just beginning.
Ronaldo wasn’t the same after injury but still good. Maldini and zidane was a bit older (both mid 30s) but still great and Ronaldinho became incredible after about 2005 ish.
So that’s leaves about a 3 year period in which Henry was considered the best in the world and agian should’ve won the 03 ballon dor.
