  • You probably want to know what we’ve been up to over winter. I recently finished my third memoir and am now working on Richards. He too has been very busy restoring and digitally framing thousands of our family history photographs. He also completed restoring many Milwaukee Braves images and is just about to complete restoring 199 Lighthouse images from around the United States and Canada. Both of these projects took him 20 years to complete. We thought you’d enjoy a brief peek into his Lighthouse Art adventure.
For those viewers new to our channel, we’ve recently published a 24-page Garden Video Blog Directory eBook listing over 1,000 of our garden videos each arranged by topic of interest from A-Z. If you’d like your free copy, please add the letters A-Z in the subject line of your email and send it to lynn@WisconsinGarden.com.
Thanks for watching. Stay Safe & Healthy, Peaceful & Happy playing in your garden. Sharing goodies from our garden to yours - Lynn & Richard from WisconsinGarden.com - #KeepTheLoveGrowing

I worked for a small town newspaper here in Western Iowa and my boss loved lighthouses too. He and his wife would travel all over Wisconsin, Michigan, etc. and take pictures. He published a calendar of all his favorite ones. Beautiful work Richard. So happy we are going into gardening season again. I always look forward to your videos and my local PBS weekly show “Backyard Farmer” from the University of Nebraska.

Hello Elaine. After 22 years, Richard finally finished restoring his Lighthouse project for a 2nd time. He realized that technology and software offered him new possibilities and took it upon himself to re-restore and archive them all over again. In 2016 we self-published a book on Amazon called the "Lighthouse Bucket List" as a colorful journal for Lighthouse enthusiasts filled with photos and room to leave comments.
Thank you for your kind and thoughtful comments. I will be sure to pass it on to Richard. We do truly appreciate hearing from you. Enjoy spring. Lynn & Richard. www.WisconsinGarden.com

Incredible. So beautiful. You are both so talented and productive. Thank you for sharing. I love history. My husband and I love to drive the back roads of wisconsin and discover old barns. And wonder who built them . We live in an old farmhouse here in Wisconsin. We are writing memories too for our family. Creating family trees. We have so much to be thankful for. And your videos bring us so much joy.

    • @WisconsinGarden

Good morning Jim & Nancy. Don't bet me started on old barns. Richard and I were on the way to meet friends for dinner. We took a back road and came across an abandoned farmhouse. While we continued past, Richard made a 180 and stopped to take several photos which he eventually created as a work of art. This was not the first time or last time. So, I fully appreciate your love for old barns as well. Since Richard spent a couple of summers on his Grandparents farm in East troy, we've been back to describe that part of his childhood which is now entered into that portion of his memoir. Lots of great stories and wonderful experiences he had, as did I, with our Grandparents. Truly thankful as well. Enjoy the backroads of Wisconsin and the stories attached to your farmhouse. Thank you both for watching, caring and sharing. If ever in our neighborhood, we encourage you both to stop and say Hi this summer. We always appreciate your warm and kind support. • @WisconsinGarden

It's still pretty cold for the most part with odd days that get into the 50's. Had an ice storm yesterday and snow predicted tomorrow. No real sign of any early growth but lots of pruning to do in the next month. TKS Lynn & Richard
