Well, you haven't experienced London until you secure the expert guiding and entertaining skills of the tall man in the bowler hat. To be fair, Page’s house really is something of an artwork inside and could do with preserving. He has described himself as feeling like a caretaker of it and is right to be concerned about the effects that local building works may have on it... in my opinion. Anyway, lovely trip with you, Jules. Liked the part of how your mum met your dad too.

I love your London walks .. I lived in this area, W11, for a long time and know all routes very well. 10 mins Ladbroke Grove, 10 mins from Grenfell. I'm into seeing all areas wherever I'm living in London. I love Holland Park, have spent many happy hours walking all round in there, the Kyoto Garden, the wooded area, wildlife garden, the Orangery, the Peacocks - beautiful park .... I have been lucky in knowing many areas of London, was a agency care worker for an agency in Victoria and covered a lot of areas in SW and South London, then an agency in Lisson Green which covered large areas of N London. Then I became an Animal Aunt and stayed at people's beautiful uber expensive homes looking after pets in all the rich areas of London, always investigated all areas I worked in or resided in .... I know a lot of the places you cover, brings back many memories .... I love London, was born in Paddington many many years ago and have seen London change sooooo much ......... Thanks Joolz for bringing us all these walks and info 👍🏻😄👍🏻😄👍🏻😄👍🏻😄

I filmed inside Robbie Williams' mansion many years ago when it was owned by Michael Winner the film director. It was rather pleasantly sumptuous inside and included a cinema in the basement. We were there for a good few hours to interview him about his art collection and as I recall he didnt even offer us a cup of tea. I'd love to see inside Jimmy Page's gaff next door.

Jimmy Page also purchased a Alister Crowley house in Inverness called Boleskine House. Jimmy can be seen sitting in its garden during his own segment in the Led Zeppelin movie The Song Remains The Same. He only lived there a few weeks but owned the property for nearly 20 years I believe. It was destroyed by fire years ago but has recently come on the market again !!

Thank you Joolz. I've been enjoying your London Walks, as a subscriber of course. But this one really caught my eye as, in the late 70s, I used to live at 64A Princedale Road from where I had a bird's eye view of the Duke of Zetland pub. Friends lived in Pottery lane, and we use to drink at the Princedale Arms, a pub where, it was rumoured, Jimi Hendrix downed a drink or two. My favourite summer Sunday morning activity was strolling over to Holland Park clutching a copy of the Times, which I would ostentatiously read over a cappuccino from the splendid Italian run café in the centre of the park. Pip pip, jolly good show.

I don't know much about the history surrounding Holland House or it's owners, but the seated man depicted in the statue said to be of Lord Holland could not have had his head chopped of by Oliver Cromwell. The statue was of a Victorian gentleman of the19th century and not of a 17th century man.

quite right! He was a different Lord Holland. Sometimes I need a nice shot to cover a messy edit. Did I say that he was actually the one? My mistake. I'm not a historian but very well spotted by the way. I didn't notice the clothes.

Given the horrible destruction of much of Syria, its wonderful to know the Leighton House Museum has preserved such gorgeous Damascene tiles.

I don't think Crowley lived in that house. He lived in Boleskine House on Loch Ness which Paige bought.

You briefly showed The Earl of Zetland there, which used to be my local pub when I worked in Holland Park but it looks like it is closed now, is it? And I had one of my product designs exhibited there in the Design Museum.

Poet John Betjeman and actor Richard Harris have both lived in Jimmy Page’s Holland Park home, previous to him. And yes, Boleskin House was the Loch Ness House Page owned that Crowley lived in.

Staying at Safestay, the Holland Park hostel, in a few weeks. Will definitely check out Leighton House, love Islamic/middle eastern art and The Stranglers so what's not to like? Also might invite Jimmy and Robbie round for a picnic in the garden and try and broker a peace deal between them. Think the Minder location was a pub in an episode where Arthur Daley was ripped off over a van load of VCR's. Will also get a selfie outside 29 Princedale Rd. What track was playing in the background btw?

Great video as always Jools. On the TV subject why not try UKTV and their Yesterday channel? Brown Bob produce shows for them. On the BBC front You’d fit in well on BBC 4

Whatever happened to the Commonwealth Institute, is the building still there? I remember going in there as a child, and being very bored by the exhibits, except for a stuffed lion that was hidden around a corner. And, play over in my mind, "Is this the stuffed lion, or a live one staying still?"

Yes, I think it's an error made by my friend!!! I blame him! He lived in a different one of Crowley's houses!
