I had two fragrances; Chanel EDP and Prada Carbon. Then I met my girlfriend who had a collection of Creed. Aventus, Viking, Original Vetiver, almost all of them. Got hooked on the good stuff and now have forty bottles, almost all of which are niche.
Funny! I’m happily camping out at stage 5… but I’ll dabble in stage 6 from time to time. I’m not bored and I love what I own (designer, artisan and niche). I cherish them. I don’t need to smell everything new but i absolutely still enjoy selectively sampling. Blind buying is a big no-no because I’m so particular in what I like. I was a solid stage 4 15 years ago, got out, then fell back in 3 years ago and I’m validated in knowing what I loved back then holds up and I adore those old bottles too… using them right up. Money well spent.
Did you watch that Netflix movie. That fanatic used womens not sure if it was blood to make his ultimate fragrance notes. Crazy movie . At the end he made himself irresistible.. 😂 ultimate fragrance that .
Hi Chi. I am stage 5, I think. I have a large collection, but it is contained to one large wardrobe in my office. I have paused my purchasing, because I am out of room, and because I am really enjoying my present collection. Thanks for a really interesting video!
I'm very quickly heading to stage 5 on the stage of craziness, and I could relate with every single stage I'd been through (1 -4). A truly interesting video and super useful reality check!
Hahahah...How funny video:)! I enjoyed it:) You forgot to mention regular declutters:) I have certified problem stage 4 maybe 5 I guess ...hahah... OMG I have to stop this madness - dont want to smell of blood or gun powder! Oh..no..it cant be my future...hahahah
Came in blazing at stage four, lol. I don't quite have the bankroll to go full speed into stage five (primarily niche). Will only sample those first. I'm not sure if I will ever enter stage six (the horror). I have learned that while super weird, obscure, niche scents are fun to sample, I don't care to smell like that.
Very humorous video, had me laughing and enjoying 😂 For I started my perfume journey in stage 3, going to the department store, testing and finding something I liked among the designer brands offered. My first love was Givenchy Organza Indecence, discontinued in 2004. Now, would say 4-5, more niche, very little designer in my large collection. I research fragrances on Fragrantica before buying and get samples to avoid blind buys (former bad habit that led to decluttering). I do like unique and different but must be wearable, no weird experimental stuff. Gotta keep it classy 😉
Wow! It's a great video! I think I'm on the beginning of 4th stage. I wear fragrance when I'm alone at home or before sleep. I basically have minimalist type of life and I don't want have many different shapes and colored bottles. So I try not to fail or regret what I buy. Your videos stop me buying new fragrance sometimes and encourage me buying one sometimes. Both ways help me a lot. Bank account problems! You made me laugh! I can relate!
@@englishtreeabc Great that you enjoyed the video. I also identify as stage 4 addict. 🫣🤣 Eep I hope I don't encourage hoarding fragrances too much haha.
"Everyone questions your sanity, and they should." BWAHahahahahaha. So true and I don't care! LOL... Yes, I blind buy just to SMELL something new. I am Dame Saphira, and I am a fragrance addict.
I think I'm at stage 3. Seeking better quality fragrance because I noticed there are so much better smell scents out there which I've not gotten my nose on.. but the truth is I never will. The LORD God knows..Love this video..you have also progressed very well.. see you've grown back your hair. Nice..
😊😊😊😊😊nice

Just me laughing like a crazy person walking my dog when I heard blood as a note.
