I have a feeling you would enjoy Grey Flannel by Geoffrey Beene - the reviews are very mixed, and some people hate it, but I think it is amazing - smells like Fahrenheit (the violet leaf?) enveloped by sage, petitgrain, lemon, and vetiver, with some classic florals in the background. Probably better for cooler weather - haven't been able to try it on a hot day, as summer seems to have been cancelled in the UK this year! I got 100ml for €10. It's one of those time-travelling scents... I'm so impressed! 😊

My Cabochard arrived today - I squirted it in the box to test, and I thought, 'Eek! Run for the hills!' A bit later, I tried it on my arm, and I freaking love it! Lesson learnt: skin and cardboard are not the same! 😆 It's perfect for men or women - smells expensive and assertive (boss b**ch). I'm embarrassed to say I just ordered another bottle... 😳

Great reviews, and your vocabulary, turn of phrase, and command of the English language is truly impressive. English is easy to learn, but very difficult to master - even for native speakers. I hope you don't find my observation patronising - it's not meant to be.

I appreciate your insight into these two fragrances: it was helpful. Within the past few weeks, I bought two bottles of Dolce & Gabbana "Velvet Incenso" because a certain discounter was selling 5 oz. bottles of it for only about $130 before tax (retails for $388), and I've been wanting to start collecting a lot of different "church" incense fragrances. From this past Sat. until yesterday, I heard about multiple fragrances which could be considered "church" incense fragrances, and I ended up ordering seven different ones. "Majd Al Sultan" by Asdaaf is one of them. Even if it isn't a "church" incense fragrance, I'm still looking forward to trying it because I believe I would like it, and I got it for only about $14. Someone did describe it as a "church" incense fragrance, but would you say it could be considered as that kind of a fragrance? I plan to take a long break from collecting fragrances because I've bought too many within the past few weeks. Also, I just subscribed to your channel. Have a good weekend.

Really? I bought it 2 weeks ago and all I get it a sickly sweet old leather. I was so disappointed with it, after expecting something beautiful like Bibliotheque. Will let it mature for a while longer but it's a big NO for me right now. 😔

Another good leather you might enjoy is Velvet Oud by Lattafa. To me it is a blend of Tuscan Leather and Ombre Leather, a very lovely fragrance. 👍

I have Barrakat Satin Oud by Frangrance World and its also a dupe of Oud Satin Mood. Its goooorgeous. Sexy cosy is right! I recommend the barrakat Gentle Gold, by fragrance world that one is good too.
