    I have watched a lot of resin art videos and this is the first time the results look different from the process. They can't be the same for sure!

      I had the same issue. Big all the way to ends and these are more closer and not look the same.

      Yeah. I thought exactly the same. The final product is not the same one.

    Hi Tesler,what type of resin do you use? Beautiful flower coasters. Thank you 😊

    Its not the result you show up for tutorial. Its different. Coz i also work with resin and i know color shrinks but not that much that they even even leave a light streak of any colour around borders. Fake

      Hi! Sorry you feel this is a fake video. This is the first time I tried this technique and these were my results. I have several other videos on the same technique with similar results. Happy crafting!

      Her colors move inward because she hit them with the heat in that direction, so they bloomed toward the center instead of the outside. What would be the point of faking a resin video? Cynical much? She is trying to help people who may want to try this technique. That is pretty sweet!

    What what do you use when your doing blooms? Is it different than just the white alcohol ink?

      I just dropped alcohol inks on one and used a pipping bag to make three circles then used a tool to draw in the flowers. I tried it again using mica powder and dropped on two different colors towards the outside then swirled it three times then used a sinker in a pipping bag again then pulled in towards the middle to create the flowers. Turned out pretty good for the first tries. I’d show you but not sure how lol

    They turned out alot different from when you put the colour in the resin, it went right to the edges. How or what did you do to make the blue colour shrink like that?

    • @t3sslark
      @t3sslark  2 года назад +1

      I think that as the resin cures, they shrink up a bit. This was my first attempt at this project but since then I’ve made a lot more (I have a couple more videos on it up) and I make sure to bring the colored resin all the way to the edge of the molds when I’m making them to begin with.

      @@t3sslark I think it had to do with the way you hit them with the heat gun, and moved from the outside in, so it bloomed in that direction. I think if you reversed that, but just barely at all blowing them, because you don't want them to touch the sides, which they shouldn't, but think of how flowers bloom from the inside out, and it makes sense that they would bloom that way more naturally!😄

    Hi I really liked your work and it turned out beautiful but can you tell me the resin and hardner ratio you have used ?

    • @t3sslark
      @t3sslark  2 года назад

      Hey 😊 Thank you very much!! The ratio I use is 1:1 epoxy to hardener but check the manufacturers instructions on the specific resin you’re using!

    I'm sorry people are being rude, and making accusations. You did a nice job, and showed how much movement resin can have. On top of the heat gun direction causing them to bloom inwards instead of outwards, there is also the possibility of the centers being just slightly lower than the outer edges, maybe pulled down by the weight of the glitter glob, that could cause the direction to move inward. And also the swooping toward the center for the pedals. So, literally, everything you did. Cute little flowers. I like putting a background of some kinda shiny powder behind, like holographic pigment and a clear coat, or any chameleon color. I actually really like the results when I gold leaf the entire background and cover with a clear coat. Really makes your colors pop! I am not good at blooms, so I was watching all I can, but it is mainly my lack of a flat surface.

      Thank you 😮‍💨 I appreciate that! This was my first attempt with this technique and I never would have thought a couple years later so many people would question if it’s a legitimate result!
