You can save some money servicing wise by just going to a specialist that deals with german cars. You get the same quality genuine parts and they are more likely to look the car over properly for any obvious faults. Most cases better aftercare as well. Some people me included would actually prefer to see a independant specialist stamp in the service book (as long as it's backed up with receipts). More likely the car has been looked after better.
In comparison, I have a Mini Cooper S 2007, I drive 36 miles per day back and forth work, 4 days per week and that costs me £40 per week. So, your A45 is pretty decent.
In reality of owning a car like this: Service A may cost £1k at Mercedes, but you can go to a Mercedes Specialist and get the same service for £450 - £600. Service B at a specialist can be £225 - £350. Other service factors Spark Plugs - £150 (Every 4 years) and Axel Fluid - £240 (Every 4 years).
Nice video mate. I'm planning on getting one next January time. I'm 22 and have been driving since 17, insurance quotes are coming in at bang on £1000 which I'm really happy with
If you can go for it mate you won't regret it, take into consideration the running costs aswell though, my service is due soon, Merc quote is £900 independent specialist is about the same aswell.
@@TheLondonCarScene I currently have an A220. I have a service plan which is £30 a month. Merc have told me that a service plan for an A45 would be £36, all services included, deffo worth it in my opinion..
nice man, I been looking for one. I think the new version looks awesome. Considering this or just stay within an S3 range. BUT I love this car...the looks, sound, practicality is so worth the money. I have 1.6 golf and I drive quite a bit during the week for work but still cost me 40 quid so for a 2 L turbo that's not bad. I think I would be more vary of the parts and servicing I can do but MErc has their own way of doing things(all the electric etc ) I would be anxious if mess it up. Did you try to do the service your self?
Hi mate, its definitely a good car and if you can get one I would! Service wise I did consider doing it myself because of the difference in the cost but because mine had full mercedes history I wanted to keep it like that, so just decided to pay it in the end. Thanks for watching!
i dont mean to be so offtopic but does anybody know of a tool to get back into an instagram account..? I was stupid lost my account password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me.
@Vincenzo Mario Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and im in the hacking process now. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Yes they are, however with any car if they are not looked after they suffer. Check my other videos I explain common issues with them and what to look out for
You cant complain about petrol on a 2 Litre. From my MK7 GTi I get 4.5L/100km because I drive normal, have had it for 5 years now and Im really over the whole speed and exhaust farts thing. If you drive spirited of course you going to consume 8l/100 upwards and you will certainly fill up alot.

This is true, although I went to 3 independent specialist 2 charged the same price and 1 was more expensive so just went MB. Thanks for watching

@@TheLondonCarScene thanks for replying are they pretty good on the petrol
Honestly no, I spend a lot on time refilling so much so I've had comments from the people that work at the petrol stations 🤣
@@TheLondonCarScene oh dam lol 😂 can you put 95 octane I know says 98 octane
You can, every once in a while I would refill with 99 but now it's mapped I just use 99
Nice 1 for the reality costs mate 👍
