I mean it was obvious RIOT doesnt want Corki to be played mid at all , theres a reason they are shifting him back to a typical ADC. This video is so pointless , Corki has been a meta champ in mid for god knows how many years now and i belive riot is finally trying to shift some of the matcups around so that we get some new matchups instead of the old Azir v Corki for the 100th time.

He's still not a typical ADC. It's just old Corki. This version of Corki has already existed, and it was also most viable in mid lane with solo XP. Which is why in the first place they switched his autos from AD/ True Damage to mostly Magic. They did it a very long time ago in an effort to balance him as a mid laner because having AD/ true damage crits and massive magic damage poke was too much of a mixed profile. Making him AD/ True/ Magic mixed damage again just makes him broken mid, it doesn't make him an ADC. Removing package was a good change but apart from that he is still the same champion just with a different damage profile, so he's still basically a mid laner. Corki is a bit like Tristana bot, he is only good on all ins because of his E armour shred. His trading patterns otherwise are weak. His Q is easy to dodge and costs a lot of mana, everything he has is low ranged before 6. He is really weak 2v2 if you have no kill pressure. Basically the "new" Corki is just an old problem Riot couldn't fix, his true damage has to scale with his levels or base stats, which makes him stronger with solo xp, he is a champion that if he can't stat check you just clears the wave and waits until he can because his AAs are slow and he is low range. So he will always be best in mid unless he is turbo broken.
