It is easier than most people realize. I taught my son 17 ..showed him 2 and he did all 60 tanks and painted them . Didn't crack any .
10 gallons long ways and 20 longs ..40 breeder.

Thanks for sharing. I am going to try it. In your experience are small tanks harder ? Because of thinner glass or doesn't it make a difference.
I have heard that, though I haven't noticed much difference between drilling my 20g, 40g, and 55g tanks

How many have you cracked?😂 I gotta drill some tanks soon. What size bulkhead did you use and where'd you get them from? I don't have a drain for my water so I'm gonna have to use a tote with a auto pump inside to pump it out the window and to the lawn. Probably gonna hit you up to ask about some other stuff here in the next 2 months or so. Gotta get this autowater going so I don't have to be home everyday
Of the 12 or so tanks I've drilled, thankfully I've only cracked one (pressed down too hard). I use 1" Lifegard bulkheads from Amazon (www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002DKAU0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1). Hit me up with any questions you have!
