As myself one living in a tropical country and have never experienced winter, this is a really interesting and amazing documentary on how's the life in the North and extreme climate thriving. Kudos to Danielle and team!
I've seen documentaries about natives of tropical regions that don't have the word for snow and ice in their languages. I always found it funny and curious how a person could grow without having any idea of what winter is
@@antoniousai1989 well it would be the same for lots of other people, people who live in the arctic would only know just the names of the few foods that are eaten there and tropical people would find it funny that they don't have a name for tropical fruits 😭
Danielle, I'm so glad to hear and see you again. Felt like you've taken a bit of a hiatus. Your narration is so flipping soothing, while still informative, with the brilliant illustrations as the cherry on top! Tabernak, she's back! ❤🎉
No need to fear, she hasn’t gone anywhere! Danielle was featured in 4 episodes in a row within the last 2 weeks or so. Super kind words, we’ll pass them onto her!

I’ve always wondered how the snow monkeys dry off without freezing. Is it warmer around the pools because of proximity to the heat? I can’t imagine it’s much different than getting out of a hot tub in the winter
Wow! Such a nice and well made documentary on one of the most amazing and majestic earth environments. I also like the passion that the young lady puts in her job, she seems to really enjoy what she does... brilliant! Thank you so much!
"Growing up in northern quebec"--- wait really? Same? I honestly think the wildlife and nature here is what inspired me to fall in love with nature and be so fascinated with the natural world!
Aww this is so amazing! I’ve been following Animalogic and Danielle since the channel was very small. Seeing the growth the channel has had and doing now such big content as this documentary fills me with a lot of joy❤❤❤ hope the best for Danielle and the team in the future!
This is awsome! I defiantly like the full documentaries. If you don't have it on your list for the future, I would love to see orcas, seeing as how resident orcas are going extinct.
Yeah Danielle! I always love it when a local 'kid' (you know, like Drake -- a local kid) does something great, and your channel has always been entertaining and educational. Shall we expect a full doc on the prairies also?
What an awesome mega episode! I would have loved more footage of wolverines, tigers, and polar bears but I know that they're rare and hard to see. GREAT work on everything else!
I find it difficult to believe that there are monkeys within the Arctic Circle. The monkeys illustrated live in Japan, where winters are shorter and milder than in most of Europe, and they hang around hot springs where they can take a dip whenever the cold is too much. I wouldn't be surprised if tourists offer them titbits.
I love your enthusiasm Danielle 😊 Warmed my heart when i saw you at lake Elizabeth with the platypus, close to where I live 😊 Thanks for your amazing attention to detail in your vids.
I picked a good morning to watch this... The coldest morning of the year so far... 1C... (It doesn't get that cold here near Melbourne on the coast). Meanwhile the northern hemisphere boils!
🇧🇷🇧🇷 We can clearly realize they didn't travel to Japan or Siberia; they made a very clever images sequence that gives a smooth aspect to the video. Great.🇧🇷🇧🇷
Exploring Arctic Foxes was a good choice and well done! I also learned much about Ptarmigan and Musk Deer, especially. You pointed out many facts I had not heard before, and found very interesting! Well done and presented! You and your camera person, both, are excellent in your documentary! Thank you!
😎Awesome video😎 My favorites were the Arctic Fox 🦊 and the Wolverine 😈 The Arctic Fox because it's a predator that's equally as awesome as the Polar Bear 🐻❄️ The Wolverine because it's an incredible predator 🤩
I like that Danielle is at least familiar with Marvel lore, referencing Wolverine from the X-men when talking about his real life namesake being native to Canada
7:02 That's crazy, these foxes will just sit here eating birds and eggs and the birds just don't care at all? They just sit around while it happens? Those feathers are everywhere!
I love you guys! I love this channel! Danielle do you have any suggestions or tips for getting into scientific illustration work?? also does anyone know if white tailed ptarmigans do the same thing as the ones discussed in this video?? I assume so

14:10 Tarmigans sound like they were in the recording studio Jurassic Park's velociraptors As well as the sounds for games like Disney's Toontown Cogs and the Wah! from Waluigi and Wario lmao 😂
Wolverines are ADHD people's spirit animal I should know since I have ADHD. 😂❤ I literally workout minimum 2 hours a day and are very familiar with being described as "all gas no brakes" hahahaha love these little psychos!
Every time I see the Japanese Macaque, I think of the Monkey King. I know that the Monkey King is Chinese, but the Macaque do kinda look like him. To me, the best Monkey King, in movies, was JET LI. He had the traits perfect, very skilled yet couldn't resist having fun. Check it out - Forbidden Kingdom . . . 🤠
Vampire deer likely even eat small animals and dead animals or carcass even their own kind as well but they are still not hunters nor they are also omnivores 🚫
The function of grooming was once thought, as said here, to remove parasites. More likely is to rid dead skin & smoothe hairs etc. recent reports say. Bits hairsplitting though.
I was enjoying documentary as usual. But then found myself quite distracted by "SYBERIA, NORTH ASIA" whilst other places were named Canada and Japan. Never heard of a country North Asia, heard of another though, that is situated there for nearly a thousand years. Also love the generalized term Siberia whilst in other more deserving countries you deigned to place the names of the regions. Seems quite orientalist. Which part of Siberia we are talking about? It is only the size of Canada
The sheer joy on Danielle's face is something to aspire for.
I know she always seems so happy!
