Note: For removing the latex aloe vera leaf was kept in water for 30 minutes before peel off the skin.

Peel on one side and use a spoon to scoop the jell its much easier and safe.

I've been growing aloe vera for years, but typically only use it as sun screen, and as body lotion with wonderful results. I've always wanted to make a drink from it, because its pulp looks delicious and nutritious. Not sure why all these internet people are hating on this video, it just gave me the motivation to pull out my blender and make a quick drink before I hit the gym. I can't see this stuff making you sick, or having any adverse reaction. DRINK ON!

This drink is grand, it tastes quite nice.
best is to mix in amla (gooseberry) juice and it gives a different taste...best for weight watchers too. normally, it is bitter in taste whether juice or eaten raw. my garden has 7 aleovera plants. About a year ago, i came to know that it can be consumed or else i used to think why this show-off plant took too much space in my garden instead of basil leaves or mint leaves....my dad had planted those...now i use it as a sun-screen, face wash as well as consume it and they are really huge because they were planted since years

Jayann yes, home grown is always better because if you buy plants or vegetables at the store they’re almost always gonna spray it down with perverse chemicals. Home grown is good too because of the active photosynthesis that’s going on while it’s growing, so you’re basically eating life straight from the source .

i was actually surprised how delicious aloe vera juice made from home. Do not buy from walgreens or walmart. IT tasted bitter and very acidic after..The fresh one from the garden is the best to take ...not bought.

yes,it can purify the blood..If anybody drink it in regular basis(one glass daily after breakfast)

I have an aloe vera plant. I really wanted to try this juice. But somehow, I feel guilty inside just thinking that I'll be ripping my only aloe plant's leaves. I gave it a name - Roxie. 😭😭😭 Maybe that is why I'm so attached..

I use aloe Vera juice on my sun burns but what really sucks is that I have an allergic reaction to a ingredient mixed into the stor bought ones. Leaf Juice. So I can’t use burn relief or aloe vera

Take a warm wet napkin and softly dry off
Yeah I've used it on my skin forever it tightens , clears and tones my skin. Sometimes I don't even wash it off but after it drys when you get your face wet again it turns back to the gel form you first put on.
