Hi, I actually live in San Diego and I was also raised here. I have played this game before and it blows me away how accurate and detailed San Diego is depicted here compared to real life. Many things have changed since the game was released such as older buildings that got demolished and where replaced with new high rise buildings. I recognize almost every part in the game. I really appreciate this video since it's honestly rare to see a game that has its inspiration base on San Diego.
This is really cool and impressive how you actually took real life pictures to match the ingame screenshots I had alot of memories when playing around San Diego in MC3
right, some things to know about Detroit, Cobo hall, the place where auto show was hosted, more or less got renovated into TCF center, the Ford Field, and the Renaissance Center are missing their Ford and GM brand respectively in the console version, which I was kind of shocked to found out because they were there in the PSP version (the midnight club 3 I was familiar with) and Comerica Park’s tiger statues are pretty much just gone, I guess this is because of copyright lol
Tbh with this style of video I can easily see you do an entire series of cities in midnight club 1, midnight club 2, midnight 3 and midnight club LA console version. Well actually if things go good I could see you do this kind of content for racing games in general
As a kid it was so insane that two of the cities from the game were cities I had lived in, D town and San Diego. I used to seriously think Rockstar made a custom game for me or something😂😂 I also used to love doing little comparisons
I honestly have very low expectations with the RUclips algorithm on my end nowadays. Just want enough where going through a few troublesome encounters making this video was worth my while.

This is such an awesome video!!! Seeing places in real life that you've previously seen in videogames is a very weird but cool feeling. I recently visited SF which I had previously seen in Midtown Madness 2 and Driver and seeing the recognizable places (sometimes by accident) is fun indeed.
These comparison videos with commentary are very interesting and informative. I already liked your old The Run comparison with commentary from years ago where you mentioned that a certain road is only for casino employees in real life. Sadly you seem to have deleted that one. The Saints Row video could have been very interesting as well but the fact that you copied the tone of the ingame voice actor for the whole video made it a bit hard to listen to, lol. Anyway, I would love to see Detroit and Atlanta versions as well or maybe a version of the Carbon video with commentary. And definitely consider doing some video about the Las Vegas F1 track. I think a lot of people could be interested in that and being from the area you are in the perfect position to do it.
