Unfortunately no. Although xanthan gum will thicken the sauce, it will also make it slimy. You could alternately add cornstarch and then thicken it on the stove, but it will come out a bit different.
on my second batch of this amazing sauce, made mac and cheese with broccoli, put it on everything I could think of, thanks again
