What a wonderful day to spend at the beach. Congrats to Cherie (I presume) on the filming of your video. She did an excellent job with so many diiferent views of the eagle. AND the way you fly it; I swear it is real. It shows off how talented you are.
Beautiful Glenn. A real art form. Looks nicely balanced/trimmed. Great music and camera work too. What wind speed are you flying in? I assume flat calm?
David, yes, it is an art form that I absolutely love. The eagle is balanced front to back and side to side meaning it is unstable everywhere. It needs a little bit of wind and a whole lot of practice. 6 months to learn, 3 years to get good. It likes 3mph and 9mph is too much. Cherie does a masterful job tracking the bird. Happy boy!
The eagle would be a source of frustration, I fear in turbulence. I know. The wingspan is 1.2 meters. My largest is 1.3. Our smallest, Cheries trick style eagle is 80 cm wingspan.
What a great open beach for soaring! Great flying and great camera work! Thanks!
Thanks Steve, Cherie knows my eagle moves.
That’s cool! I love it
We are thinking much the same.
A great location to enjoy your skilled flying. Always looks so realistic. Not the easiest to video. Well done Cherie !
She is a treasure! Without Cherie filming, my contribution to our group would be pretty minimal.
Wow, the entire sky is your playground. Wonderful videography as usual by Cherie.
I love my wife! Who would have known?

I may have to put her on a retainer!
The way that kite glides is amazing, Glenn, but clearly involves a lot of skill. A lovely beach - I bet you wish it wasn't such a long drive!
Gas and meals are an issue,Jim. In either order.
That's a wonderful eagle gliding. I have never seen it in original in Germany. Nice sharing.
Outside of China it is little known.
Have not checked in for awhile. But happy to see you are still at it, Glenn. Kudos for the camera work, too!
Hi Priscilla, its been an age! Cherie can sure rock the video camera. I'm a lucky guy!
Great vid Glenn
Turned out to be a good day for eagles, Ziggy!

@@PanyingPilot sadly we don't have many calm days in the UK. What span is that eagle? Perhaps if I had a time machine I could learn.
