FANTASTIC! Wow you did such a great tutorial. Jealous of your techie skills, but this is good enough that I think I can handle this. Thank you so, so, much for the time to make this video. Airtable should send you a commission check!!

Thank you so much for the video. I am trying to decide what app/program to use and after watching yours and a few others, decided AirTable is the way to go. Thanks again for taking the time to make this video.

Thank you for showing your Air Table base. This was so helpful in giving me ideas on how to organize my collections.

This was a superb intro of a great way to utilize this new-to-me-before-yesterday online database for my cardmaking stash. THANK YOU for sharing!!!!

Thanks for the tutorial. Very informative. If you have a stamp that also comes with a matching die and/or stencil, would I use a drop-down that has these choices to check off: die (owned), die (available), stencil (owned), stencil (available)? The “available” means I didn’t buy the die or stencil, but there is one in case I want to buy it in the future. I’m sure I’ll have more questions after I start inventorying. TIA

I know this has been out a bit, but I"m just starting to create my airtable database (after unsuccessfully trying everything else) I really like your idea of having the Manuf. tab I never thought of that, I am going to try that myself. thank you for sharing how you create and use your database.

OMG!! Thank you so much for this video! I've been using Airtable to keep track of my crafting supplies for about a year and a half and you have shown me a couple of really good tips! The Gallery View is a HUGE tip - I always hated going into each file to try to see the item. This now makes finding what I want SO much easier!

Thank you very much. When you calmly explain it, it seems so usefull and easy. But it is sooo much work... where do I start? Some day I will start, this is great.

Very helpful thank you. I spent 17 years working with relational databases, and this appeals to me ! Just got to find time away from crafting to make a start. My emphasis will be on Where ? as I can’t find things I know are there somewhere!

I know what you’re going through!! There are some days I’m inclined to take my whole stash out to the backyard and set it ablaze! It’s come to the point where I’m spending ALL my time trying to come up with solutions to my storage problem of not just where is it stored, but “Didn’t I buy one those? Or did I just THINK I had? And if I did, WHERE is it NOW?!?”. My mantra has become S.I.T.H.!!! (“Somewhere In This House...”)

One year on, and I’ve just finished cataloguing my stamps and dies (apart from those I have acquired in the last couple of months !) it’s bliss to search for a theme, check the images, make a choice, note the number and location and FIND what I want in just a minute or two !

Thank you for the videio - great info and great teacher! Do you use the free site? I am wondering if that would be enough for all my scrapping items, stamps, dies, embossing folders, inks, paper, stencis, Copics, etc?? Thanks for your response.

So I have a huge inventory and beginning to use airtable. This video was an amazing help. I am especially following your “lazy” copy/pasting hints! Thanks. So I’ve begun and it will be a process but helpful in the end. My only, and big concern is could this disappear? or is there some way to back it up onto my computer? or am I worrying needlessly about losing all the work I put into this.

I have my air table in my IPad. I’ve tried to access from iPhone and Mac book, but they are not there. How do I link them?

Question: I reviewed your method of importing an image for the stamps but can't seem to get the hang of it. It doesn't work to just open the image in a new tab ...then open image ... then go to image entry in gallery or grid view and paste ... what am I doing wrong?

Color my life is an app just for crafts, but the charge a fee. You can scan your barcode and it has thousands of craft bar codes

QUESTIONS, QUESTIONS, L O T S of QUESTIONS, please ... If I understand you correctly, the info you enter on your computer is not directly transferable to your iPad? Nor your iPhone, I take it? So, the BEST feature of Airtable - the Gallery view - is only available on the computer? Do you know if Airtable is “workable” on Macbook laptops? And will it allow the Gallery view on the Macbooks? Does Airtable have a “freebie” version? And does the company regularly ask you to “upgrade”? Thank you for whatever information you can offer on these points.

Yes, yes and yes ! I have the free version, online on my Pc with the downloaded version too, I have an app on my iPad which has Gallery now, one year on, and have just downloaded an app on my android phone so I have it with me when I shop ! Everything is updated seamlessly. I use my iPad mostly. It’s regularly updated, but not all updates relate to the free version. This is an excellent resource and I hope you get into it. It’s quite painless once you decide what information is important to you. Good luck !

@@suegalley Thx BUNCHES for the input!! I’ve been struggling with the idea of giving up this paper crafting altogether. Between trying to come up with usable - HIDE-able - storage in my kitchen/ family room area, and the maddeningly frustrating task of HOW to know what I’ve got in the STAMP category, this is daily becoming less and less the fun, creative pastime I took it to be. If I can at least get a handle on the stamps’ inventory I may feel less overwhelmed. You’ve been so very helpful. Again, my sincere thanks. 🙏❗️😘
