Trippy, yet grounded and character-driven. Character-driven, yet quirky.
The A story (OMEGA FLIGHT) starts to blend with the B story (Roger looking for a new host body for Walter). Delphine Courtney foolishly unleashes The Void that was within Shaman's medicine pouch.
The medicine pouch Michael was warned NOT to look into.
Yet, Michael-as-Shaman HAS TO look directly into the substance that was contained in his medicine pouch to do his part to get it contained, again.
    Does Michael-as-Shaman go insane?
Or is his connection to Elizabeth-as-Talisman at its strongest, just when the team (and the world) need it the most? Is Elizabeth's magical power to be "a ward against all and any evil" at its peak, guarding the minds of ALPHA FLIGHT---even her father--- from the harmful effects of The Void?
Well that's my guess/head canon/theory, and I'm sticking to it.
Other plot points worth mentioning: (1) Roger is focused and seemingly successful in finding a new host body for Walter [what I meant to add was BOX has 5 fingers in # 26, # 27, and # 28], and; (2) it will take "a week" for AURORA to recover from her cracked ribs. This is much faster than normal [GOOGLE data states that "(i)n most cases, a fractured rib will heal on its own in about six weeks"], but not instantaneous. This is going to be important in ALPHA FLIGHT # 28 and AF # 29.
