    This video helped me pre-PA school to know that other people are parents and successful in school. A structured day to day schedule is super helpful. Thanks for sharing Adanna!

    Thank you so much for this video! It is so great to hear the "mom" side of PA school from a student who is all in. I am going to start working on that early bedtime now so that (hopefully) my kids will be ready to settle in early when the fall semester and the start of PA school comes around!

    The video I’ve been looking for! Because I am a parent I’ve been reluctant to apply to PA school. You mentioned your life is very compartmentalized - what do you do if your child gets sick or something unexpected comes up? I find that my life needs some kind of flexibility as a mom.

    thanks for this video! I have always wanted to go to nursing school and NP school following, but since having my first child and thinking about having our next one or two, I wonder if PA school would be a better route for me allowing me to do my undergrad work while my babies are little and I'm able to stay home with them. interesting thoughts!

      The PA profession is a great option. Keep researching to see which will be the best option for you personally, but it's definitely possible to do PA school as a parent (single or married).

    Hello thank you for your video! I just wanted to ask you now that you are a PA are you still able to keep weekends for yourself or do you have to go to work? Also what is your schedule like currently is it flexible ? and do you have to get someone to stay with your kids a lot or do you get to spend most of the time with them?

    Hi Adanna! Thank you for inspirational video. I am also a mom of a toddler. We’ve just moved to a new area to be closer to PA school, and, of course I’m trying to make our life easier before it starts. I have a question about meal prep while in PA school, especially during the didactic year. I know for sure that my husband will not cook, plus he sometimes travels. So, sometimes I will be busy with my daughter and school. Have you considered using meal prep and delivery services? Is it worth it while in PA school? Side note: I worked long hours before school starts and saved some money. Also we are not taking out loans and planning to cash flow the school (it’s relatively inexpensive). Would it make my life easier to not cook and spend that precious time to study and my daughter, or am I catastrophising and should get over myself and learn to cook quick 😂?

    • @AdannaThePA
      @AdannaThePA  3 года назад +1

      No I didn't consider meal prep services because I'm just so particular. However no do know some people that swear by it.

    Would you say it’s better to have kids during PA School or when you actually become a PA?

    Love the planning! I'm a planner too.
    “For this is how God loved the world: He gave[a] his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. “There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son." - john 3:16-18

      It's definitely something that you're going to have to talk over with your support system significant other if you have one because it takes a toll on everyone but if to look at the pros and cons of everything and see if the sacrifice for the 24 to 36 months is worth it and if it is then do it if not then you make the decision that's best for you and your family. But definitely don't let fear drive your decision make it with an open and clear mind
