So many positives seen in this breakdown. Really hopeful DJ can continue this solid play. Now LFG Big Blue and bring it Thursday night against Dallas!!!
He is starting to trust his offensive line and that is why he doesn't rush his footwork and is able to drive with more accuracy. I think when he gets more comfortable with his knee he will drive more touch into those deep throws without fear.
Finally a fun offensive film for the Giants! Great to not see Jones patting the ball so much. Very decisive this week hopefully they can do the same to Dallas
Hey Dan and Nick. I enjoyed the breakdown as always. However, I really enjoy Malik's second TD breakdown. In real time it just seemed like an easy play and I wondered how could the Browns allow this to happen. But after seeing your breakdown/with incredible detail, I realize this play had 4 components to make it successful. First, Dabol designed this play to perfection. Second, the offensive line had to block pretty well. Third DJ had to accont for two things, 1 extend his leg out and 2nd direct his eyes to draw attention to Wan'Dell, which then allowed Malik to spring free. Finally Malik with his quickness, strong hands and concentration made a great catch. So, while this play in real time looked simple, it really was far from that. Like you said quoting a fan that to him it might have been DJ's best throw. My memory is not as good but I can tell you both your breakdown and watching the play gave me a chill because it was so darn good. Both of you are the best and thank you again for all you do. I kept checking to see when your offensive breakdown would drop and was very happy when it did. Great work boys as always!!
Good stuff BBB! First W breakdown, congrats. This pod gives fans great insight to film, play calling and coverages that I would otherwise not get anywhere else. Love when Nick accounts for the quarter, down and clock timing when beginning a breakdown and continues to reference the time stamp thru the BD. Shoutout.
Great breakdown guys…Dan hopefully those guys calling for JJ etc over Nabers are now eating crow…hopefully Daboll can come up with an equally good plan vs. Dallas
Great analysis guys as usually. Giants need to run the ball against the Cowboys. Any way they get Jakob Johnson and dare I saw Evan Neal more involved in the run game to pound the rock?
I don't think DJ's arm strength was an issue in this game as much as his timing/accuracy being off. I'm not saying he would have hit those throws, but he is still coming off an ACL injury. He overthrew Hyatt at a similar depth. He's seen him connect with these shots with Slayton, who he developed 6 years of rapport with. I think they will start to hit on these (i hope).
Love the show as always. The standards for Jones are so low they are underground. He had a horrid 2nd half. Would have cost them the game if the Browns had a functional offense. That missed to Nabers was high school stuff.
Not sure how many fans want DJ to succeed because of the dream of drafting the next Great QB. Don't think he is great but he has enough tools to be good and win when he makes the right decisions. Phil Simms did say DJ throws a good, hard spiral that receivers like. If accurate he can make most throws. Also speculation that his deep ball is off this year because of the acl surgery. Knee might not be back to full strength yet. He showed ability to hit deep balls since his rookie year, especially with Slayton, so maybe as time goes on he can regain that.
Still have hope for Janiel Domes. Did you watch what Daniels did in his 3rd start in primetime last night. He made throws in 1 game that I've never seen DJ come close to making in 6 years. Let DJ go, it's over.
If only DJ could just be more clinical and accurate we could have an elite offense. I know he is what he is at this point but I do think he could get better on deep passes this year 🤞
He was the most accurate QB in the league in 2022 and was second in the red zone with the worst receivers in the league. He also was the leading deep passer from 2020-2022.He's as accurate as anyone all he needed was a good OLine and receivers,.And hopefully a defense that gives the o more opportunities every good team needs it.
@@beefoneeto we need him to hit those passes downfield, I’m hoping it’s just rust but idk. If he can figure it out, this offense will start to explode.
And the great play calling , play by Nabers, and footwork/execution by Jomes all factors too. We ranked them actually and had Nabers and game plan 1-2.
They got aggressive on defence and challenged the opposition in way they hadn't the first 2 games and the offence scheme was divised to counter a very good browns defence where was this the first 2 games seams like what they drew up for week 1 didn't work and they didn't do a good enough job adjusting when plan a doesn't work same with kicking situation they gave themselves no plan b for gano they have to think about it more and give themselves options going forward
I'm actually shocked to hear you think the opposite. Do you watch the rest of the NFL? Josh Allen? Herbert? Jayden Daniels connected on a pass that traveled 50 yards in the air last night and I don't consider him to have great arm strength relative to the NFL. It just gets crazy when you guys stuff like this. You make us sound crazy with your "how could you" replies but it's insane to me to think that you could watch this and think he has good arm strength relative to the NFL. Daniel Jones has adequate arm strength and adequate NFL arm talent (two diff things). Be better. Do better. Be less biased. Be more objective. Watch more quarterbacks!
Looks like giants will be last in division from here on out since Jayden Daniel’s looks like the real deal. Washington oline is awful yet when you have a great QB it doesn’t matter nearly as much. I can’t wait for a new QB
Pay attention before commenting. This was the OFFENSIVE film breakdown. That’s the reason they only spoke about players/plays from the offense. Stay tuned for their separate DEFENSIVE film review. They’ll probably speak about defensive players/plays in that one. Just a hunch.
Negative Dan? I was very positive in this. But yes I was very down on the team before week 3 leading to a wrong prediction. Happy to get that wrong! Could care less about any of the other nonsense

Great show, great content. Love the breakdown
Love the breakdowns. Excited that DJ is showing growth with good OL play and an elite receiver to work with.
Listen to the pod every time it drops, keep fighting the good fight
Great content, Dan and Nick! Thank you!
One bright spot as a Giants fan is that we get to watch you guys breakdown Nabers for the next 4 years +
I think the improvement with the o-line has a lot to do with the growth we're seeing. Last year's line stifled it.
awesome as always
Great show fellas!
Excellent analysis & insights guys!! BBB #1 !!
Great breakdown
Liked and subscribed. Appreciate the work you guys put in!
Keep it up guys
Love the show
Great video
Been waiting all day for this! Thank you!!
Great breakdowns for people interested in this type of stuff!
Definitely need more Tracy!!! LEEEEK!!!!
Happy to see DJ's progress. I hope he's able to leverage it into being a well-paid back-up somewhere else next year.
We definitely saw on Sunday glimpses of what this team can be. Hopefully they continue to grow, can't be going backwards at this point.
Top notch insights and analysis once again men! We should all get used to chanting: LEEEEEEK
Hope for the season at last!
Thanks!
Go giants!
Feel like I could legitimately listen to Malik Nabers breakdowns all day every day
Great breakdown guys…Dan hopefully those guys calling for JJ etc over Nabers are now eating crow…hopefully Daboll can come up with an equally good plan vs. Dallas
Malik Nabers saved my life.
Great analysis guys as usually. Giants need to run the ball against the Cowboys. Any way they get Jakob Johnson and dare I saw Evan Neal more involved in the run game to pound the rock?
I’d like to see them involve Slayton more. I think it makes everything easier if all the receivers are clicking.
I won’t forget yall had MHJ Over Nabers 👀 hahah great pod gentleman!
We did! And now …
Is the season over yet.
Here for the algorithm

Is Slayton not gone for a Tuddie on the Tracy screen?
great breakdown! can't wait to hear what you think might be possible for our defense to do against the cowboys (hopefully something ! 🥲)
Who knew the key to winning was having a good offensive line performance, shocking

Let’s see how jones responds this week! On the other side of the ball, our defense better shutdown Dak and the Boyz!
commenting for the algo gods
Thank you! Believe me I know I’m annoying in my continuous groveling for comments and likes but it helps more than you can imagine!

Focusing on giant offense and defence, wrt opponents play also, is great... leave oline analysis to others.

How could you say that DJ doesn't have good arm strength what game were you watching?

Only 1 WR. TE past his prime. Average RB. Somehow, he's still making plays. Wow, it's a miracle.

Yop 5 is tough
Jettas
Hill
Brown
Ceedee
Amon ra
So far Hill is not in that too 5 this year but we’ll see what happens the rest of the year
Malik nabers was not the best player,Dex was
At this point you almost have to exclude Dex from the conversation because he's so damn dominant lol

Show me 1 play where Daniel Jones moves off his first read after the play starts and makes a completion. Just 1. It has never happened.
Did you even watch the video?😂
Ah here is negative Dan who predicted a Giants very bad loss. Let us wait for an apology. Yeah ok
Negative Dan? I was very positive in this. But yes I was very down on the team before week 3 leading to a wrong prediction. Happy to get that wrong! Could care less about any of the other nonsense
