This should've been in the movie because it's unfair that Anna had a duet with Hans, but not with Kristoff. It should've been the real "Love is An Open Door" song.
LOL. I really wish they'd kept it in the movie. It would've made it much better imo. I don't have time to animate the whole thing but I at least animated the part at 1:06 because it's hilarious. I'll put out the fire, my love! 😂
Really wished this made it into the movie :(((( although theres still hope ! Maybe animate it for the blu ray release ? Or make a short out of this ! I just need to see this !!!!
They probably felt it threw the pacing off cause it would have had to fit somewhere between the lullaby “All is Found” and “Something’s Never Change” plus the proposal idea is touched on in “Something’s Never Change” so it could be seen as redundant.
It's because they removed the entirety of Kristoffs subplot. They extended his hardship of proposing in this song into his entire subplot. Originally, Kristoff was supposed to be promoted to a Lord of Arendelle, and wasn't loving it, although he kept telling Anna he did. They removed this subplot, and I'm so mad, because the movie portrayed them as having 0 chemistry.
I really wanted this song to be in the movie, we haven't had a duet between anna and kristoff yet and i also really wanted more songs with jonathan groff :(
This was actually one of the songs I was looking forward to when the OST came out only to find out that it wasn't in the film. I love this song sooooo much.
"It's not what you think it is. It's not being smooth, it's being authentic." She- she summed it up. That's it. (And that's why nobody likes """""" "Nice" guys"""""".)
@@Sims_it I thought the 6+1 pairs of quotation marks around the phrase made it clear that I don't mean literally guys that are nice. There are nice guys, which is guys that are just genuinely nice; and there are """"""nice guys"""""", which is guys for whom that behaviour isn't genuine, for whom niceness is an act they put on just to get something in return.
@@irisa198 oh gosh sorry, I totally missed the point XD I was thinking those quotation marks were some kind of weird typo :P Yeah, I get what you mean then!
I think the two songwriters really put a lot of effort onto the song, even though it didn't make it in the movie. But because the effort was really put just right and everything for the song to be very catchy and perfect, between a girlfriend and a boyfriend. Even for a husband and wife. This song reminds me of the same type of songwriting, that Paul McCartney did for his former wife Linda. With the songs Maybe I'm Amazed and my love. This song also reminds me of the type of songwriting and relation tribute between former singer-songwriter and keyboard player who is no longer part of the rock band Styx, Dennis DeYoung. Because Dennis wrote the two iconic songs with Styx, and those two love songs we're inspired by the relationship with his wife Suzanne. Of course the song said I'm talking about our lady and babe. Although there is another song, that could've been inspired by the relationship between Dennis and his wife Suzanne, of what it's like to be separated. This song was eventually written just for the Kilroy was here album, The song is called don't let it end. Although when Dennis DeYoung wrote Don't let it end, he knew that he was going to write the song just for the Kilroy was here album. Because the song is supposed to be about Robert Orin Charles Kilroy a fictional character who had been framed for killing a entertainment employee, and was sentenced to life in prison with other rock stars who also been framed for murder and other false allegations. And at the same time Kilroy before he got framed, he had been cheating on his wife. And that's where the song don't let it end comes from, and the song itself is also about being separated and divorced in a way. Luckily there is no reports of Dennis DeYoung cheating on his wife Suzanne, but he knows what it's like to be separated from his wife while he's busy and things of entertainment and when he used to be out on tour with Styx. He also realizes that some rock stars and other entertainment people have been cheating on their own wives, so I believe those were The Inspirations that Dennis DeYoung wrote the song don't let it end specifically for the Kilroy was here album, he also wanted the song itself to be released at the first single. However he was suggested that mr. Roboto should be release his first single, because Dennis's wife and the people from A&M records believe that robota will be a big hit. So mr. Roboto was released as the first single before Kilroy was here was released, and of course as we all know Roboto became a big hit it's part of the pop culture. Since then it was a number one single for the pop charts, the single and the album Kilroy was here sold millions of copies. But anyway the other one the song don't let it end, was finally released as a single, it was released as the second single and it to so millions of copies. I could see a lot of similarities of my favorite love songs from my favorite bands wings and Styx, to be almost as similar to this song that never got released for Frozen 2
I wish they had put some songs children can sing in Frozen 2 like they had in Frozen 1. You have to have major skills to sing the ones in the second movie.
the second movie's plot, characters, songs, cast and crew all grew up and matured WITH the audience of the first movie. it's technically a kids' movie, yes, but it's mainly tailored for and targeted at people/kids who have grown since the first movie -- not at those who are little kids right now.
Needing major skills did not stop the many little kids from singing Into the Unknown during the end credits lol. I wasn't even watching the singalong version!
I feel like this is the same as when they cut "Lifes too short", why do they cut such good songs? People wouldn't mind one more and I know that I missed not having Christoph confess his feelings in the way he does in this song or the relationship between Anna and Elsa that was established in lifes too short, why cut them when they add so much to their characters?!
I actually LOVE this song more than a lot of the ones that stayed in the movie. I'm so angry they decided to not put it in the movie because it's amazing and so cute 😫 but at least we have lost in the woods
I remember one special edition of "Beauty and the Beast" (the animated one) coming out that suddenly had the song "Human again" completely animated in it and I LOVED it. I was so sad it didn't make it into the live action version. PLEASE put this in for every heart that can't get enough of "Frozen" songs. It's so catchy, goofy and... sincere. ;)
I honestly wonder if the reason they didn't keep the song is because they A) Had a debate between this and using "Lost in the Woods", I don't know if both would have fit in this movie, since "Get this right" would come early on after the charades scene. B) They didn't know what to do with Kristoff (Kinda felt that way through the movie) and gave him a lame side plot of trying to propose to her through the whole movie and kinda shoehorned in a proposal at the end. I think it would be much more endearing to hear him sing this duet with Anna (plus it would be so nice after her last couple duet with Hans), plus her proposing actually seems really fitting for her character. If they would have been engaged early on in the beginning of Frozen 2 I feel like they could have done so much more with his character then focus it on a running gag that's overdone in many other films. But hey, that's just my opinion. *sips tea*
I’m at least happy they released the song on the album! I wish we could see the full animation. Maybe on the extras of the DVD? I love listening to it on spotify!
Many years ago my mother gave me great advice. "Forget about Prince Charming, hold out for Prince Sincere." I got lucky and I married him. Thanks to Evan Rachel Wood for reminding me of her words. Glad someone else figured it out, too.

Why is the song not in the movie when they're all sitting talking about how amazing it is ?
Exactly my thought.
They probably felt it threw the pacing off cause it would have had to fit somewhere between the lullaby “All is Found” and “Something’s Never Change” plus the proposal idea is touched on in “Something’s Never Change” so it could be seen as redundant.
I think there’s no space for that scene. I’m happy that they released the audio tho
Ive read it was because of the subtle sexual innuendos.
It's because they removed the entirety of Kristoffs subplot. They extended his hardship of proposing in this song into his entire subplot. whyyyyyy? she has a duet with hans, we needed this!!! please put it in an extended version
this is such a good song, i’ve listened to it SO many times. jonathan’s voice is just so good
It's my favorite from the whole soundtrack..even though it didn't make it in the movie ToT
