Paolo, I think an amazing video would be how konbini food is made. I can't wrap my head around how fast so many convenience stores are able to restock on freshly made prepared foods.
Many 7 elevens in Japan have their cooking area. The seven eleven off of Ebisu station and also near shibuya have their setups right next to the cash register. The fry karaage tempura fishcakes etc. An employee told me they replenish about 6am and 2pm for products that are wrapped.
Paola, you give us Americans justice. Having lived in Okinawa on an army base many years ago, the culture being shared is phenomenal. Most people don’t understand what it’s like living there, and you politely and correctly share what it’s like to live in Japan. Thanks for being RUclips famous 👍
You're not going to the right Izakayas.. :-) The best ones are very close to the ones in Japan. However, they are rare (whereas in Japan they're seemingly a bunch in every town).
Japan is #1 in my bucket list, and when I go I need you as my guide. Love you content, love your channel. I NEED you to take me to all these places OMG!
Izakayas have great food and atmosphere. For anyone planning to visit Japan, I highly recommend spending some time in these places - you can find them almost anywhere - for a drink, a tasty bite, and authentic Japanese atmosphere. And yes, they usually are kid friendly as well. As usual, thanks for the great content, Paolo. Very useful info for any would-be visitors to Japan!🍻
I had to say and to be honest i'm so thankful for the videos you're making , I get so many good vibes and mood rising when I see your videos each time, both channels here and 'Tokyo Zebra' . For some reason I found comfort in these videos and watched them both in good and also dark times I had especially this year. Both You and Maiko doing such a great job! and thank you for that ! ありがとうございました
がんばれ! I'm learning Japanese right now, I've learnt hiragana and katakana and I'm learning about the grammar. As for Kanji, I don't think I would learn it as I already know Chinese and the meaning of Kanji and Chinese characters are very very similar.
I'm a weeb person and because of your RUclips Channel, I have a chance to explore my favorite country "Japan" Thank you very much, Kuya Paolo. Japan 🇯🇵 is my first bucket list but pandemic arise. Greetings from Philippines 🇵🇭
Great video to start the day! 🤩 Damn. I still remember being subbed from your channel at about 10k subs only. Can't believe it became this big over time. Congrats!
Hello, Paolo! Have you done a video on healthy food/restaurant options in Japan? Like maybe vegan food in combinis or restaurants! I love your videos! Hope you and the fam are doin' well 😊💪🏾
Great video! When you visited Japan quite some times and realise what you still did not explore 😄 Also interesting to find out about the ham Katsu. A similar type of Schnitzel has been created in former East Germany, as meat was quite expensive there
My first Paolo video where I find myself nervous to order 😅 BUT I'm intrigued and down for the challenge. Happy to say #8 stirred my taste buds and I walked away from this with a new catchphrase, "Umamis over Baghdad!" 💣💥🤯😂
Japanese food looks soooo delicious. Could you please do a Japanese sweets video because I have a very sweet tooth and here in the UK Japanese sweet and savory foods are getting popular 🍣🍙🍱🍤🍜
NATO was my bf favorite in Osaka and the place was really awesome with him and they even had a beer together and my bf have him a bottle of his favorite habanero smoked hot sauce he never goes anywhere without it lol
I really like that you introduced all these Japanese specialty dishes, I would never have know them if you did not air this episode. Excellent work! Just wonder if these dishes are available for most other izakaya places?
Ah..Some People misunderstand it from title 'Restaurant', It's basically a 'Bar' for targeting a Man want to some alcohol pass way home. You are already know that if you want to drink alcohol at home in Japan, You buy everything it convenience store way to home. Then, Those type Izakaya serves some light cooked hot appetizers not existing convenience store with they order alcohol drink, for customer unit prices over $10.
@@Steve211Ucdhihifvshi Cheap is relative. If one egg costs them wholeprice 10 cent (and I am damn sure it's more) and they use 2 eggs, if you put the profitability factor on it, it's already 80cent. (restaurants usually go with 4, I think a small izakaya in expensive Tokyo would not be less) Add other stuff and there is really not much profit in it. And in teh case of omelets, at a western restaurant (if you can even get them), you also pay for not choosing one of the more expensive dishes.
Greetings from a new friend watching from Hong Kong. This is absolutely amazing video. Very informative and interesting video that must be watch! Very delicious foods. Thank you so much for sharing all those mouthwatering delicious foodies.😊

It's 11:40PM ish PH time, and I'm badly craving for anything with Green onion leeks. I decided to put onion leeks and cream cheese on my pita bread. Sooo random craving. Hahaha!
i love izakaya! my local izakaya has around $2.5 foods with great taste you can even get a decent portion of zaru soba or bibimba with the price. looking at this video makes me wanna go there
That fish live looks great. When I was young, my mother would make cod liver appetizers. She would add a little garlic powder to it. It was great. P.S.: Do rince the cod liver from its oil. The liver tastes great, but the oil does not.
