Definitely check the battery fuse for corrosion! Also the other videos on RUclips regarding the hood latch connector. Good luck!

Wow this worked for me. After a battery, new terminals and a new starter this did it smh... But now the ABS and Trac warning lights are on. So did this happen to you?

Glad this was helpful! I had a few warning lights on too but I cleared them and customers car was good to go!

Don’t do this because once your car turns off the “I-key system” error is going to pop again. If you intend of doing this just know you’re going to burn out your alternator and fuses. Instead check that all of your fuses are good to begin with. Changing them is a no brainer something so simple.

@@EricsMobileVehicleRepair so here's something that happened. My radiator cooler hose to my transmission split and was spewing transmission fluid everywhere so I fix that sprayed everything out tried everything off and I was good.
Well I noticed my dash wasn't reading certain gears for instance park and neutral we're not reading unless I toggle with the shifter. Once the N showed on the dash, hit the start button button and it fired right up. It's done this several times now and it always works. It was showing eye system key error and still does, but this was the touch for mine.
Any idea where I should look to fix this? I got new battery and fuses already. If you have an idea lmk!

@billyjeanla Hey Bill. I'd check the transmission module for codes. Then check the PRNDL switch circuit.

Do you think the fuse to gone to jump it that way ?

It wasnt connected to anything. I was just using the red side to bypass the battery fuse block due to so much corrosion that it wasn't allowing power to flow through it.
