your past few videos have inspired me to clean my shop, in the past week I have completely transformed my shop I still have a ways to go but now all my tools are in one location like you have mentioned in this video. Thank you.
I throw random wrenches, broken drivers, etc into my Misc. Steel bin and use it to forge into something useful down the road. If anything, it's free blacksmithing practice steel.
No better fix for a persistent cough than a good ole fashion sauna. Building one isn't hard. I built mine 8x8 and found a used little wood stove on market place for 50 bucks. I might have a couple hundred bucks into the thing and it's one of my favorite projects I've done around my place. It's a great addition to the cold plunge regime. Plus it'd be a really cool series of videos to do.
Until I had a shop built I had tools scattered. Upstairs, downstairs, main floor, both vehicles. And in boxes all over. I now have 90% in my tool boxes still have some organizing to do but when I started gathering them all. I found tools I forgot I had. You can be so much more productive when you have a dedicated spot. And not looking for a tool.
@@OldSneelock I have a lot of wall space but also have a lot of tools I'd be doing too much running around. I do miss having a small peg board for my run of the mill go to home owner tools. Screw drivers, hammer, Cresent wrench, channel locks ect...
This also goes for every little tool you have at home. I have one place where my scissors live, I always put them right back so when I automatically reach for them they're there. I just "upgraded" to a smaller desk to declutter and make some more space in my office. Over the past few days I've had things scattered all around but the small number of things I've reached for at least once are now in my one desk drawer immediately at hand. Even for those once-in-a-while but indispensable items it's good to have them close by so your eyes rest on them on a regular basis and once you need them you know exactly where they are.
@@markp.5618my wife has a junk room 😂... But she does seem to find a tangible usefulness in fixing a surprising amount of things with all that junk. Maybe she's the smart one round here 💭🤔
Just got over a week-long stomach flu, lots of cases going around. Wasn't nearly as bad a dysentery I had almost 4 years ago from tainted subway spinach. Never ate there again, worst sickness I've ever had
I always keep my extra Allen wrenches around. They are good throw away tools when you need a piece of steel you don't care about destroying. So many use cases and they don't take up much space
I told my son if he helps me clean and organize my shop he can make half of it his. It's like 40x60 front 40' can be heated. Hopefully he takes me up on it but if not it's getting made over a little this year.
Cody can you please do a full rebuild video or series on your bike please!? All your dirt bike videos are great and we can’t get enough. Please and thank you sir.
It has also occurred to me, the thought of the almost embarrassing disorganization that my family might find if I were to kick the bucket. Haha one more reason to keep up than to catch up
I was bed ridden for 10 days, felt a little better but had the sickness for another 2 weeks. Lost 30lbs, coughed for 4 weeks after I started feeling better. Lost my voice for two weeks of it. Whatever it is, is brutal.
Bruh, I got the same cold. Ugh. My dad died and left me his stuff and i already had lots of stuff. I have a goal to sort my stuff, sell off, and donate what's not needed.
I had same flu. Started 3 days before Christmas, was mid January before could say was feeling it go away some and fatigue easing up. And it was a nasty flu. If is a bio attack it's everywhere. We're down here in Georgia, just south of Atlanta.
Paint the handles/ tape or mark in some way the specialty tools that are stored with your common tools. Like that master link clip pliers you created. They will be easier to find, you could color code them to specific jobs/ bikes as well.
I used to carry spare stuff and tools when I went for rides, but like I have never really needed any of it. Maybe a multi tool to cut fencing wire i got tangled up in
@wranglerstar it looks like you're flipping between task-centric (all pliers in one spot) and purpose-centric (all air tools in one spot) organization.. Do you have a way of identifying what you need or is it just "if you know you know" for you? I tend to stick with "specialty tools grouped by purpose - pneumatic impact wrenches in the Air Tools section" and "generic tools by task - wrenches in the wrench drawer".. that way if I need something to do a kind of task, I know to look in the area for where the tools for that task should be... but if I'm doing something more invovled and need a specialty tool, I know to look into the specialty tools storage areas. Of course, "specialty" tools will vary from person to person based on their perspective, but the concept will be the same, regardless..

I have been sick with a respiratory “something” since Christmas. It is now mid February and I still am coughing and never ending congestion. Took 10 days of anti-biotics after 1 month of symptoms. Cleared up a little for about a week and I am right back to where I was before the anti-biotics. 👎
I'm also experiencing an unusually long period of illness - incessant coughing, general malaise, low energy, etc. Definitely something that was ENGINEERED! It's also lasting over a month in my case also.
Nice that you stay with your bike, saving vehicles by doing overall maintenance on regulary basis spare our enviroment the burden of polution that comes with any new produced vehicle. So have fun and be enviromental friendly is possible. Nice job. grettings from Hamburg BTW: Your workshop looks much more organized than any home user´s workshop i´ve seen in my whole life. Even most professional workshops are not on that level
I also separate things by task. For instance I have a clear plastic box that houses all of my spare parts and tools for boiler repair and maintenance. I do the same for lawnmower repair. These plastic boxes are labeled as such so when I need to perform maintenance they are easily identifiable. Lol, government bio-weapon.
It does, azithromicin too for respiratory issues. My cat got worms a couple years back, used horse dewormer paste, only took 1 pea sized dose and they were gone.
Man I have to get my dad to watch this video. He thinks every flat surface becomes storage. He ran a shop for 45 years. And drove all his workers crazy. They use to beg me to pick up after him.
I dont do suspension tuning either i am great with top ends on 2 and 4 strokes and the clutch side aint bad either but my boy can do the whole bottom and top and wiring and tuning but no suspension other than seals and i am impressed with your oil and filter and coolant area nice
Glad you are feeling a bit better Cody. When I lived in Japan for a few years back in my 20s I lived in an environment with long, cold winters. Inevitably each winter I would get a dry cough that lasted months! Admittedly I didn't take very good care of myself back then. I hope Mrs. W. is taking good care of you all. God Bless you!

Such a nice cat, she looks happy and warm. Looks like you take good care of her. Good man.
Thank you. I NEED this series.
Going to share this with my son.
"Do I need this?"
2 weeks later...
"What the he11 did I do with that?!"

Any videos of it being built?

I stopped having all the tools in tool boxes and went with tool walls. Right there where I can see them and see if one is missing. 😁😎

Some coloured heatshrink over your 8/10mm driver bit shank might make it easy to distinguish at a glance! 😊
Every homeowner should have a junk drawer. Gives the wife something to bug us about.
We've switched roles on that one.😂

Dangit Cody! Get well brother.....I had the same mess in December!
It has to be the spraying Its the only common denom
Ahhh yes, the Chem-trailing in our skies.
What else could it be?
Stop it
Ha
thanks for some motivation to start cleaning and clearing my shop…
Organizing and watching organizing videos is therapeutic.
Every man needs a good junk drawer.
i had a junk drawer so bad i just removed it from the desk
That’s funny!
Please take care brother. Hate to see you sick like this. You are in my prayers.
Junk drawer is a necessity in mechanics.
Stay strong! Got the same chest congestion for 3 weeks

I had it for about a month myself, then was good for a month, then it's coming back again.
And you probably paid $15 dollars for it. 😂@@Giomalmsteen
@@MrLandslide84 I think it was $8
I needed this
I like seeing the shop organization and different patterns folks have. Looking forward to part2, and thanks for sharing.
Same here in middle Tennessee. Won’t go away, kids to adults. Antibiotics didn’t even touch it.

It seems that all the people that I watch have this same sickness and it seems like it's hard to get rid of.
I had to take an Allen wrench and cut it down for a specific thing on my dump truck. It's not always dumb to keep extra
I was bed ridden for 10 days, felt a little better but had the sickness for another 2 weeks. Lost 30lbs, coughed for 4 weeks after I started feeling better. Lost my voice for two weeks of it. Whatever it is, is brutal.
That’s it. Tennessee here.
5:55 Oof? If its any consolation your junk drawer is way more organized than mine.
im glad that i never took that flue shoot
I never took any shot for anything.
Same. No jabs for dad.
No jabs no boostas ever. Not going to comply.
I know people that got flu shots with COVID booster shots (at the same time). I ain't going there.
No vaxx here. Feels great not having mystery juice in veins.
Bruh, I got the same cold. Ugh.

Never throw away a tool.
Nice man cave!
Not sure if this applies to me, but a LOT of people were into shooting up the jamba juice the past few years.

it hit our family in December... I didn't get it, but the wife and kids did.. had it for a solid 4 weeks (no injections in our house)

Everyone in our house got hit with that Covid +flu bio weapon going into wk 4.
Never throw spare tools away, sometimes you have to grind, cut, modify a spanner for example just to get in a space.
Soak in hot baths. Main remedy

2 table spoons of local honey in the morning and at night...may cure all.
Great video. Prayers for healing!
Saw on the news (Fox 13 Seattle) that there is a nasty bug going through the PNW possibly being transmitted by pet cats...
Reminds me of going through the old junk drawers of stuff in the old shop!

Every time I get it I have different symptoms, but it always takes 3 or 4 weeks to get well again.😔
Wow, Mr. Proho! Even your junk drawer is some what organized, compared to other shops I’ve seen.
Organization is a big priority in our house right now. We’ve got a pretty good system down that requires little cognitive effort to maintain.
That junk drawer "full mess". Looks mine after cleaning!!! Damn it!!
You've inspired me. My shop is a disaster. I have to get my s**to together.
Same here! If I had a RUclips channel, it'd be a sad laughable version of any type of organization.
Hold fast! I have been feeling the same! Keep hammering!
Organizing is a top 3 task of 2024 for me. My shop, and my audio video room.
There's two guarantees in life, the sun will rise and Cody will forever be reorganizing his workshop.

It does, azithromicin too for respiratory issues. My cat got worms a couple years back, used horse dewormer paste, only took 1 pea sized dose and they were gone.
One clove raw garlic every morning and selenium and iodine.
I don't have a junk drawer. I have a junk garage...and backyard...and shed...and spare bedroom...
Did you stop your morning cold dips?
4 drops of essential white pine oil in a large boiled pot of water will kill the bug in those lungs.
