My mother was a flight attendant for 32 years . TP was on one of her flights and had asked her out on a date once they landed.
He was with Harold Melvin & TBN at this time( not the big name TP yet) . She politely declined his advances so he told her who he was, I assume hoping that would make her more inclined to accompany him.
My mother wasn’t trying to hear it AT ALL. He asked her if she had a HM&TBN record, she said “of course I do”. My aunt Shirley my mother’s youngest sister was more my mother than my mother. She was 10 yrs older than me. Back in the day when your siblings had babies and you baby sat because you was the youngest. That was me and my aunt. She passed away in 2018 10 yrs apart DONT seem so old anymore. I miss her dearly.
