ストーリー:
近未来、犯罪の巣窟と化してしまった大都会・デトロイト。凶悪な麻薬犯罪集団、都市乗っ取りを画策する巨大企業、冷酷無比な怪物マシーン･･･?! はびこる"悪"を壊滅し、市民に平和を取り戻すために、"ロボコップ"の戦いが再び始まる!!

Released in March 1991.
The movie 'RoboCop 2' is rated R by the Motion Picture Association of America. It is intended for mature audiences and parental guidance is advised. Children under 17 are not admitted unless accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.
In the Japanese version, this adventure begins just at the end of the first game, at that moment when RoboCop enters Dick Jone's office floor. This 'playable intro' was deleted in the World and U.S. versions.
This exists in the Japanese version only : If you complete the game without using any continues, there will be an extra scene that features RoboCop 2 (aka RoboCain) for the background photo, and some scribbled writing from the staff (it's sort of like the credits, only with Japanese writing that was done with bright colored chalk).

The Robocop Arcade games by Data East are the best Robocop games!
I agree, I wish they had done an arcade of Robocop 3 even though it's a terrible movie. It might've made up for it.
I agree the SNES game Robocop is a tough game. I have it on my SNES emulator on one of my external hard drives and I still find it tough to beat.
@SGT FRIED CHICKEN Yeah that and Sega Genesis Sega Dreamcast, Nintendo (regular) arcade games (MAME 32), PlayStation 1 and Nintendo 64, Nintendo DS, Sony PSP, and Sega CD. It's all free you just have to research and look for the emulators and ROM files to save the games in ZIP file format.
These kids including my 12 year old will never understand the nostalgia of arcade games 🕹
The lights, loud noises, even cigarette smoke on the ceiling on some was something else. I remember a stranger started giving me tokens so we could both beat the T2 arcade and we did, one very fond memory i got from that.

The best thing about Robocop in the movies was how he shot his gun. It was like a fighting style where he had one hand to “balance” himself and the other hand to deliver righteous lead rain on his foes.

This is the best way to play Robocop 2, the arcade version, the nes version it's fine but the arcade it's the complete game.

Damn, the 2 DECO Robocop games were begging for a MEGA DRIVE conversion. I can imagine an 8mbit for the first and a 16+mbit for this game. Or they could have used the MEGA-CD and made them arcade perfect. DECO did some great work on the MD. But MCD versions of their games would have been arcade perfect, no doubt. Yes, minus colour, of course. Man what I would give for a MCD Midnight Resistance!!
If only more arcade games were made for the MCD after SEGA's AMAZING FF conversion. That game showed how perfect arcade games could be on the MCD. Shame SAMMY didn't get that memo, with thei ONE PLAYER conversion of Sengoku. No sprite scaling either, which was a cinch for the MCDs ASIC chip. That was one very disappointing game when I bought it in 1995.
Good thing I had Popful Mail (Jp version, not the piece of shit working designs "translation". Although I did buy the US version later that year and hated it with a passion.), Urusei Yatsura: Dear my Friends and the amazing 3X3 EYES RPG from SEGA at the same time. So the disappointment of Sengoku Denshou was lost once I played those other amazing games. 3 of my favourite games of all time! But LUNAR I&II on the MCD (again, Jp original!) are still number one along with grandia on the Saturn....
