December in Almaty will dissapoint you for sure, the weather is unstable and is not always clear will it be snowing or raining, you can't predict that for sure. The city usually at that time of year is gloomy, cold and depresingly grey with the mud all around. People's mood also changes it's like synchronized to the enviornment of the season.
