I recently visited Baku and its nearby places like Shahdag and gobustan. Not gonna lie, go during summers and spring. And though temperature might be same as Delhi in December, due to Caspian Sea, it’s very windy. Although Baku is a great city overall and is a must visit country if you want to experience Europe in budget.
I have been in 1981 to attend my classmate. the food was excellent, when the whole soviet union, especially the European parts was not so good. His father-in-law invited us to Caravan Sarai- the oldest hotel and restaurant in the old city of Baku, but the party was a big restaurant on the mountain facing the Baku seafront. India and indians were popular there, but when the Azerbaijan war started, the Hindutva regime in India supported Armenia and then they detested the indian govt and indians. both India and Armenia lost the war because India was supplying arms to Armenia and Turkey and Israel supplied to Baku as well as Putin.
Well the answer to that question is simple all the central asian countries and a country in the caucasus named azerbaijan were predominantly muslim but they remained under USSR for a long time and because of their communist ideologies that they imposed on people most people remained pseudoislamic and pseudosecular . Even many people have become agnostic also just like in the balkan states for eg bosnia kosovo montenegro etc . When there was the time of USSR religion was widely prosecuted whether it is islam or christianity . No religious activites were allowed outside of citizens homes and church / mosque . It also mantained some sort of equality and harmony among people of different ethnic sects and races . Even religous leaders were not allowed to hold up a political office in the former soviet union . 👍
They are modern and European because they are Russian jadidists and suffered Russia revolution, world war, Stalin and Lenin rule. That's why they are so European architecture
Bhai , India Pakistan relation is better than Armenia and Ajerbaijan. India and Pakistan shake hands and talk to each other when they meet in foreign countries. People of Armenia and Ajerbaijan don't do that also. Normadic India , he did a blunder. he lied and got into Ajerbaijan. He took big risky and posted in youtube. Ajerbaijan got to know. That was against Ajerbaijan Immigration. If he did too, he shoud not have posted in social media.These are the reasons, Indian passport has less value.
Azerbaijan was one of the countries, which blindly followed Pakistan in opposing India. And now it is suffering from Defense deals, Indian clearly rejected to give their weapons to Azerbaijan, through a mediator country. I don't hate people of Azerbaijan but it's the Geopolitics, their government
