    Fool everyone with this fun and puzzling (yet easy!) magic trick with playing cards. First I perform the effect, and then I give a magic tutorial to show you "how to magic" yourself. 😄 You will be able to fool your friends with a regular deck of playing cards, even using a borrowed deck if you want! This is a "no setup card trick", meaning that there is a way to perform it without needing advanced preparation. Make sure to see my remarks about this point in the video (i.e., watch the whole thing!).

      I had an idea after watching the video: how about some "Magic coaching/tutorial/reaction video" ? The premise is that you teach Aleksandra or some other assistant a trick that later they have to perform for another spectator. And then you get do a reaction to whole sequence! I think it could be fun to try.

    • @JasonParkerMagic
      @JasonParkerMagic  3 года назад

      @@xnick_uy Yeah that sounds excellent! :) I did actually suggest teaching her a trick to perform to other people, but she said she enjoys more being the magician's assistant. I do think with other friends it might be a cool idea, and I especially like your suggestion about doing a reaction to the whole sequence after the fact. You were thinking as a separate video? Or all together in one video?

    • @xnick_uy
      @xnick_uy 3 года назад

      @@JasonParkerMagic It would be very fun either way. I would go about doing all in a single video, provided it doesn't get too long. Also note that it would make more sense to do the whole editing after the reaction is done, instead of editing some of the footage first.

    Laughter is such an awesome reaction to magic. Great reactions from Aleksandra.
    Also, I'm not a magician, but I learned the card spring on Jason's tutorial, and I've done it so much that I sometimes do it just passing time or between shuffles. I've had a few friends stop me with a comment like, "Woah, what did you just do? How did you do that?"
    It's not hard to learn, and it gets great reactions.

    • @sudave87
      @sudave87 3 года назад +1

      I usually get "You could not shuffle any slower" or "You are destroying the whole deck by bending the cards" when doing anything but a regular shuffle 😂

    • @wade7959
      @wade7959 3 года назад +1

      @@sudave87 LOL. I've got that a couple times. Don't stop.
      If you get a nice deck of plastic cards, it doesn't affect them. Teskyer makes a good deck that acts like paper cards. It also makes doing a pharaoh shuffles easier.

    I saw this trick on the last video you did, showing magic to your friends, and I did figure it out cause it took you a while to rearrange the cards, so I kinda knew something was happening. Also, I think I've seen that principle before, so I immediately recognized that you had used the heart to look like the diamond. Great beginner trick nonetheless and appreciate the tutorial!

      Hello there ASMR no I'm not vegan yet! Jason here. :) I am inviting a small group (20-40 people) to be part of my "Backstage" studio... a group of friendly people who want to see my YT channel succeed. (I have specifically invited those who've been supportive and written kind comments on my RUclips videos regularly - so thank you for that!) In this behind-the-scenes community, we can discuss creative ways to improve the YT channel, brainstorm new video ideas, and consider effective thumbnails.
      If you're interested in *helping out* and being part of this experience, then message me using the special email address I created... located on the "About" tab of my RUclips channel. Do NOT use the typical "click to see my email" button... but SPECIFICALLY the one I mention in the channel description text (it ends with "googlegroups"). You will see it! This is simply the best way I could figure out to establish communications more directly, coming from the comments section. Looking forward to trying this out together! :)

    Video tip: NEVER cut from a 2 person shot to another 2 person shot. Instead, have your second camera on only either yourself (close-up) or your spectator. Ideally, 3 cameras is the way to go, but use my tip when you're only using 2 cameras. Good luck.

    • @JasonParkerMagic
      @JasonParkerMagic  3 года назад +2

      Oh yeah? Why is that? I thought it just provides more visual variety. You think it's too jarring to cut from one camera to another while still showing both people?

    • @VancouverMagic
      @VancouverMagic 3 года назад +1

      @@JasonParkerMagic It is not visually appealing to cut from a 2 person to a 2 person shot. Watch the way they do it on the news, or talk shows. They usually start with a 2 person shot, then cut to a close-up of either the interviewer or interviewee and will go between those 3 shots. You can also start with a 1 person shot, then go to either a 2 person or the other person shot.

    A friend of mine was a magician and he had six rabbits. They are always in training and are never allowed to interact with other people but the magician.

    Live alone with smelly rabbits for the ONE time you do a trick *BUT COULD USE A STUFFED / FOAM RABBIT*

      Rabbits aren't smelly unless you leave them in their feces in a dirty cage. They're clean, like cats, always bathing themselves.
